Outright Games has announced Hotel Transylvania: Scary-Tale Adventures for Nintendo Switch, launching just in time to tie in with the series' upcoming final film, Hotel Transylvania: Transformania.
The new game, which will join 2018's Hotel Transylvania 3 Monsters Overboard on Nintendo's platform, will take players on a fairytale journey alongside fan-favourite characters from the movies. It's a 3D platform adventure that reimagines classic stories like Little Red Riding Hood and The Emperor's New Clothes, and is planned to launch around Halloween 2021.
"We are so happy to be returning to Hotel Transylvania for another scary-fun adventure this Halloween season," says Terry Malham, CEO of Outright Games. "We are delighted to be able to incorporate our own unique story into this incredible world and retell classic fairy tales using the franchise's eccentric characters."
No gameplay footage has been shared just yet, but Outright Games promises that it has "a lot more" to reveal about the title over the coming months.

Man, that trailer doesn't even attempt to capture Genndy Tartakovsky's animation process at all. There's no snap, no exaggeration.

Everything made by outright games has been bargain bin licenced game garbage! From Race with Ryan to Jumanji the game all the way up to Paw Patrol: Mighty Pups Unite.

I actually remember the first movie, which was... okay. But after that, it went straight downhill and showed that the, could wven get worse that Twilight 😒

@RupeeClock Tartakovsky's style took Sony a whole new toolset to come close to even in pre-rendered animation. Not sure if the game adaptations can quite afford the effort. Too bad they don't all just opt for 2D (and ideally WayForward's involvement like that neat metroidvania way back when).
