I'd be interested in how many extra downloads they get when they only reduce it by a couple quid. Hades was £20 but a bit above before, but now its £20 and a bit below, but still the same if you round it? I'm no psychologist, mind you. I've already spent more than enough on Doom Eternal and Xcom in those sales, but that Carrion deal is kinda appealing. So I suppose these discounts do work then...
Was really hoping for Spiritfarer when I read the article title. I keep missing it when it goes on sale. I know I should just front the full amount, but I admit that I’m conditioned to wait for all but the very essentials
I wanna know why Will of the Wisps sees all (i.e. I bought it physical for 40% off, now it's the digital's turn) the discounts but Blind Forest gets none.
No, not all of these games seems to be discounted in Europe. So no, not "similar discounts can be found in other regions". You really should specify which region these sale prices concerns. Preferably in the headline.
@Toshiro_Baloney
Spiritfarer is on sale in Europe at least.
I think I have around 15 already in that list above. I would only want Fez on there of the ones I haven't downloaded yet. Pretty much all the 15 I have are good.
EDIT: I have also downloaded Haven & Wandersong in these latest sales!
Picked up OlliOlli there. Gonna be trying that out in the weekend!
Looking at picking up Atomicrops and La-Mulana 2!
Will you be doing a similar article for the European discounts?
"brand new FEZ"
@Folkloner You know, seeing as this is a UK based Sita and all.
Dandara for a fiver. That game is great.
Carrion is great too.
Fez, Terraria, Hades, Ori, and Jackbox Party Pack for me
FEZ is more expensive on the Switch now than when it first came out years ago. Is it the exact same game or has it got some new bells and whistles?
Everyone should get Fez. One of the best games ever made. Fez, Fez, Fez.
I was going to buy MH Rise this week but decided to wait after the Indie World due to the fact that after some tries to make the demo appeal to me, it just didn't convince me.
Now I forgot about it and finally decided to get Dead Cells on sale. Hope it was the right decision
stonks. lots of stonks
@Controller-Drift dead cells is a great game.
Sort of tempted for Evan’s Remains and to triple dip on Fez. Can’t believe I’ve owned it on 360, PS4, and now want to get it on Switch. “But it’s portable now!”
Spent like a madman. Aaero, Huntdown, Castle Crashers, and Heroes of Hammerwatch for a combined $42. About $27 spent after applying gold coins.
Well, I just picked up Hades... I've been putting it off because I knew I'd not be able to put it down once I started. And... yup...
@Controller-Drift Getting Dead Cells is never the wrong decision.
@Controller-Drift I don’t think Monster Hunter demos do much for newbies. I’ve bounced off Monster Hunter in the past, but Rise is finally the one to get its hooks into me. Don’t think you’ll regret Dead Cells, though.
When is Obra Dinn getting another discount? I missed the flash sale it had for one weekend last year...
It's a crime that Moonlighter isn't on this list. It's on sale right now and it's probably the best Zelda-inspired game I have ever played.
Anyone tried Raj? Was on my list to try at some point.
and flinthook! and forager!
@B_Lindz oh really? I hated it, but maybe i'll give it a second chance.
@Toshiro_Baloney there's a good number of games that were added to the sale in the US eshop today. Spiritfarer is among them (it's a decent reduction too)
@Mystique No kidding! Honestly, the game does start a little slow. How far into the game did you get? I feel that it really picked up after completing the first dungeon.
@stinky_t The attention given to the game by having it discounted will increase sales, regardless of how large the discount is. Of course, a really good deal will sell even more.
@Toshiro_Baloney "Was really hoping for Spiritfarer when I read the article title. I keep missing it when it goes on sale."
If you add it to your Nintendo.com wishlist, they'll e-mail you when it's discounted.
After paying less then $5.00 for terraria on the PS4 I cannot see myself paying more for it on the switch. And it would be perfect for the switch. I hope they give it a deep discount at some point. I may have to pull the trigger on Panzer Paladin though.
@Strumpan you make a good point there actually, I suppose you aren't selling to people who already know about the game, you're trying to get on people's radars, right?
I like the look of FEZ but I can't buy it for 15 dollars when it was sold for 3.50 last year on other platforms. The sale price is already more expensive than standard price elsewhere. I can wait for a deep sale.
