Overcooked! All You Can Eat, a fancy remake of both Overcooked! and Overcooked! 2, is launching today on Nintendo Switch.
This new release contains more than 200 levels from both of the original games (including their DLC), seven new kitchens, three new chefs, and a brand-new assist mode. For the first time in the series, it also supports cross-platform multiplayer, meaning you can join up with friends on PlayStation, Xbox and Steam.
There's a brand new launch trailer for the game above if you fancy giving that a watch, and we should also mention that Disney’s The Muppets’ Swedish Chef is available as a free character download for all players of the game up until 30th April.
The game launches today on the Switch eShop for $39.99 / €39.99 / £29.99, and players who already own any of the original games can get a 15% discount from today until 11th April.
We'll have a full review of Overcooked! All You Can Eat for you soon, but until then, let us know if you're thinking of picking this one up with a comment below.

I’d love to play as an axolotl and the muppet chef, but as someone who’s already bought both games and all the DLC, a 15% discount feels laughable and tokenistic.
Great purchase for anyone who’s not got either though! Great and very frustrating purchase.
This will be great to play with friends.
Don't give us the Swedish Chef if you won't give us a physical copy. I can't toss DLC over my shoulder to clatter on the floor, now, can I?
This practice is a complete joke, Team17 have released multiple versions of this game (including a physical bundle, containing both titles and all DLCs, in 2019). Re-re-releasing the exact same bundle, on the exact same console, with no upgrades over the existing, and then only offering a 15% discount to previous buyers?
Got my physical copy a few days early and been enjoying playing it with my g/f. I say enjoying, it's pretty stressful at times. Tip when playing with friends and family - communication is very important. Honestly, it's like working in a proper kitchen. Yelling orders to one another really helps.
I haven't bought any of the previous ones so I guess maybe this would be a good deal for me. Gonna have to try it first though.
The overcooked 2 deal was much better than this and you didn't have to own any previous games.
It seems like they'd give early adopters, and especially double dippers a bigger discount when the gourmet edition for OC2 came out less than a year ago.
I already have Overcooked! 2 and I've played a fairly decent amount of the first game at a friend's already. No interest here.
I only have Overcooked 2 but have been enjoying it a lot, despite only playing it in single player!
I'm wondering if I should get Overcooked 1 afterwards or if it will just be an inferior version?
Already pre-ordered 2 physical copies which will be arriving in the mail today. Overcooked 2 is my most played Switch game. I purchased Overcooked All You Can Eat! For PS5 a few months ago because of 4K and 60fps but muscle memory from playing the Switch version so much makes it difficult for me to enjoy the game on PS5 since the button layout is reversed. Anyway I'm glad this complete edition is available for Switch so I can stick to playing this on the platform I'm used to.
Already played Overcooked 1 and 2 and bought all the DLC. Slightly disappointed I can't get that axolotl chef or the extra kitchens without basically buying it all again.
@JJ_Brum Try playing 5 players, 4 making the food and 1 calling out the orders
Cross platform online is amazing.
This needs a review cus unfortunately the performance on OC 1 on switch was pretty bad when I got it way back when. I'd like to see is it better. Im Assuming it's 30fps for both games.
@Ogbert yep, feels like a bit of a cash grab at players who have strongly supported the series (I too have both games and all dlc). Think I will pass on this
The only problem with 200 levels is actually reaching them! Overcooked once forces you to get 3 stars on at least 2/3 of the levels, and that's just not something I can do, or an willing to invest time in.
Getting 2 stars is a fun challenge 3 sucked all the fun out for me!
Is everything in the cartridge or do you have to download the content?
