Numskull Games is making a name for itself lately in physical games publishing. Having previously broadcast a Nintendo Direct-style showcase back in July 2020, its latest set of reveals has just gone live in today's showcase.
We've got new information about five upcoming titles, due to launch in the first half of 2020.
Battle Axe
Battle Axe is first on the list. Taking inspiration from games like Sega's classic Golden Axe series, this arcade top-down hack & slash sees us bringing down a despotic sorceress, “Etheldred”. It's arriving this April and Numskull Games offered an extended look at gameplay.

Bladed Fury
Bladed Fury is coming next month. Based around Chinese mythology, we've got a very different kind of 2D hack-and-slash adventure here, playing an exiled princess called Ji. Looking to defeat the treasonous Tian Clan, we'll be encountering China's ancient deities along the way, too.
Brigandine: The Legend of Runersia
Brigandine: The Legend of Runersia launched last year on Switch digitally, which we awarded 7/10 stars. Sequel to 1998's Brigandine: The Legend of Forsena, players will wage war across the Continent of Runersia, seeking to unify the land under one nation. This tactical RPG will release in Spring 2021, bringing a collector's edition with it.
Iris Fall
Next up is Iris Fall, which arrived last month on the eShop. Bringing an adventure game, you'll play as a girl called Iris, seeking to solve puzzles by switching between the realms of light and shadow. We can expect this one to arrive physically later this month.
RICO London
Lastly, we had RICO London, a previously unannounced sequel to 2019's stylish arcade shooter RICO by Ground Shatter. Having teased this reveal last week, we can expect another fast-paced first-person shooter, tackling London's more notorious gangs on New Year's Eve 1999. You can play it alone or with a friend in co-op mode this June.
Will you be picking up any of these physical editions? Interested in RICO London? Let us know below.

Rico looks cool but nothing in the trailer looks London-ish to me.
I haven't of any of these but Rico looks kinda cool, probably gonna pick that one up
I liked the first Rico for what it was, as a fun little co-op shooter. I'll probably get the new one.
Bladed Fury was a lot of fun, but not gonna double dip. Heck, I think its only $5 on Steam atm. Definitely interested in a Rico sequel tho.
Funny how RICO London pulls off the cel-shaded comic look that the Thirteen remake didn't
@Entrr_username I thought the exact same thing.
Interesting to see another run of Brigandine after Limited Run Games did one. I'm not sure I remember any games getting multiple separate physical releases before. Good news if it's in response to high demand, perhaps we'll see it happen more often.
@jump The first one was really disappointing to me, just a repetitive breach-n-clear mechanic with auto-generated levels that would seem to have a terrible layout most of the time. Hopefully the new one is better, but I would have low expectations.
@Lapses I know. I thought the whole concept of Limited Run is that’s the one and only run. I guess this is a European release, vs LRGs North American release, but I have to wonder if LRG is happy with this!
Interested in Bladed Fury... Reminds me of Muramasa: The Demon Blade.
Cool! Just wanted to point out that Battle Axe is much more of a Gauntlet style game than a Golden Axe style beat em up.
