Towards the end of 2019, we found out indie developer Sean Young would be bringing his "relaxing" RPG Littlewood to the Nintendo Switch. It's inspired by the likes of Animal Crossing and Dark Cloud.
In this one, the "world has already been saved" and now you must rebuild your town, learn new hobbies, forge lifelong friendships, collect rare items and materials and explore the vast world of Solemn.
Young has now announced his lovely little game will be launching on 25th February, with pre-orders beginning on the 18th February. Alongside this is a Switch trailer.
Will you be adding this one to your Switch HOME Menu when it launches later this month? Tell us down below.

Just from watching the trailer, it already has more convenience features than Animal Crossing. Looks great.
It looks super nice and the concept is original (post world saving, not the gameplay). This one is definitely on my radar, so please be good!
I’ve been waiting for it since it originally came out on Steam and knew it was pending Nintendo’s approval.
Looking forward to give this guy my money!
This and Stardew Valley 1.5 update in the same month? I’m pretty stoked!
@Rhaoulos it has amazing Steam reviews.

I am getting that Stardew Valley vibe from it so I will check it out for sure.
Sounds like a cool idea!
The artstyle is almost identical to Stardew Valley's, just without the pixels.Even the menus are the same.
That said, it's a cool concept and it's reviewed well so I'll probably get it.
If this doesn't have that annoying stamina bar that Stardew Valley has, count me in. I know Stardew Valley is really well liked generally, but the stamina bar turned me off from the game.
@deafdood as someone who started Stardew for the first time a month ago and promptly buried a hundred hours in it, I'd highly recommend you give it another try! After your first few starting hours in the game you'll be drowning in so many consumables you'll never have to worry about energy again. There are also things later on that both permanently boost your stamina, reduce the stamina drained by tasks, AND greatly reduce how much stamina draining stuff you have to do to begin with. I honestly don't even think about stamina anymore unless I'm in some of the combat areas, in which cases a single wholesome cheese (of which I get five a day) is usually enough to get the job done.
And really, even in early game, the stamina thing isn't so bad as it looks at first sight--it encourages you to go out and explore instead of just hammer away at work all day, and that leads to many of the game's best moments.
At the risk of sounding dumb, how does a post rescued world work in this type of game?
game's very chill and addicting. nothing groundbreaking but does everything quite well and this kind of game is just a perfect match for switch.
For anyone on the fence about this game, get it. Imagine Harvest Moon, Animal Crossing, a Scavenger Hunt, and a lite version of Magic the Gathering put into one.
You will see what I mean
Yep on my radar this one. Star dew in theory is awesome to me but just didn’t click I was so stressed playing it. I hope this game is relaxing xx
@deafdood It has a different and far more relaxed system that combines time and energy. You can walk around forever and talk to NPCs without using energy/advancing time, while most everything else (like receiving a gift from an NPC) will use one unit. Landscaping and construction don't use any energy at all. Once about 80% of the day's energy is used night falls. Sleeping in your bed will give you a 25% energy bonus the next day; that's the only penalty for not going to bed (no lost items or anything), though you will wake up where you passed out (more or less).
Not enough fantasy RPG/builder games out. There should be way more. This looks nice, if a little grid-based, but that's to be expected.
My biased first thoughts when looking at screens were that it wasn't for me, but after watching the trailer I'm sold
Its looks ok, but it depends on the price, obviously.
@Broforce Should be around 15$ based on Steam price
Yeesh! That's a bit much.
Definitely downloading this one. I'm liking the look of the Animal Crossing/Stardew Valley vibes.
