On 27th February, Pokémon will celebrate 25 years since the release of the original Game Boy titles in Japan.
In the lead up to this big event, Nintendo, Creatures Inc., and Game Freak have registered new trademarks for "Pokémon Wonder" and "Fusion Arts" in Japan.
Before you start speculating, Pokémon Wonder covers "Food, Beverage, Education, Food/Accommodation" while Fusion Arts is linked to "Games, toys, and playthings" and might be something to do with the Pokémon Trading Card game.
If we don't find out more about these trademarks next month, perhaps we'll hear something about the rumoured return of fourth-generation games, Pokémon Diamond & Pearl.
Any guesses as to what the above trademarks might be for? Are you excited to see what The Pokémon Company has in store for the series' 25th anniversary? Leave a comment down below.

Fusion Arts?
COULD THIS BE SMT X POKEMON?!?!
New game gimmick: check out a handful of pokemon get Fusions. Charizard gets three
Fusion Arts sounds like just the kind of gimmick that will distract from how stale Pokemon is while simultaneously making it incredibly easy. 99% they’re both to do with a mobile game though.
@A_standard_idiot SMTxFE became one of my absolute favourite games, even without really having a background in either series. If they could do that with Pokemon, it'd be amazing
Pokémon Wonder is an edutainment spin off name if I’ve ever heard one.
Im just saying if pokemon fusion arts doesn't have like lucario and infernape doing the fusion dance i will be extremely disappointed.
I'm sorry FUSION ARTS
SO NOW WE'RE TRYING TO BE SMT HERE
What's next? Is this game going to have an alignment system where I either side with Lucifer and his demon horde or golden Patrick Stewart and his Kid Icarus-ass looking angels to decide the fate of the region my trainer is from
Pikazard confirmed. The ultimate form of overdone Kanto nostalgia all in one.
just because its fusion, it dose not make it smt nor is this the first time pokemon's had fusion involved.

and its not exclusive to just 1 or more pokemon...
Still waiting for Pokemon Sleep.
DNA evolution? Next you're telling me we'll get armored evolution as well
Fusion Arts sounds like the statues the Square Enix produces for Final Fantasy
its a distraction before dropping the remake announcement
@Sabrewing : The beta is available now. Just close your eyes and count Mareep.
Wooloo will be available in the full version.
The Pokémon Company: breathes
Everybody, their moms, their dogs, and Verlisify: POKÉMON LAND AND POKÉMON AIR CONFIRMED TPC SAID SO!!!
Fusion Arts, or for short "F.Arts"
I can’t say much on Pokémon Wonder since I haven’t seen much on it but other sites have reported on the Fusion Arts, they’re basically saying that it’s related to the TCG due to it sounding like a card mechanic and it sounding an awful lot like the Pokémon LEGEND mechanic from the HGSS-era sets.
Also, one thing I’ve been seeing spreading around is that Fusion Art are related to Calyrex, Glastrier, and Spectrier due to those three Pokémon being the set themes for Japan’s April sets but I doubt that’s it. These copyrights tend to pop up a good 5-6 months before they’re officially revealed so this sounds like it’ll be for Japan’s summer or fall sets.
It must be tiring to be one of the people who watches for every single time Pokemon registers a trademark.
