Fitness Boxing 2: Rhythm & Exercise has been a quiet hit on Switch. Released last month, it offers a cheaper alternative to Ring Fit Adventure and though it didn't expand upon the original game as much as we hoped – we gave it 6 stars out of 10 – there's still a decent workout to be found.

Whilst gyms continue to remain shut and Switch sales continue growing, it's not too surprising to see it's now shipped over 500,000 units. Announced by developer Imagineer, this figure includes both physical and digital copies, pushing the combined series to over 1.5 million sales in total.

To celebrate this milestone, Nintendo has also dropped a new update for free, adding a 'No Mercy' option for trainers Martina, Sophie and Janice. Providing a much tougher workout for players, it was only available with Lin and Evan until now, so it's nice to see this expanded.

If you're interested in trying it out, you can access the free demo off the Switch eShop, letting you give the Daily Exercise and Free Training modes a go.
