The fallout from Capcom's recent hack continues – we're now seeing reports which appear to lay out the publisher's release schedule for the next couple of years, and we have to admit, it reads like the most over-optimistic fan-made hoax we could think of.
According to the document, if it is indeed legit, we'll be getting sequels or remakes to some of Capcom's most beloved properties over the next few years – including some franchises many assumed were dead and buried.
Here's the edited highlights, compiled by our pals over at Push Square:
- Resident Evil Outrage - Q4 2021
- Dragon's Dogma 2 - Q2 2022
- Street Fighter 6 - Q3 2022
- Rockman (Mega Man in English) Match - Q3 2022
- Resident Evil 4 Remake - Q4 2022
- Onimusha New Work - Q4 2022
- Monster Hunter 6 - Q2 2023
- Biohazard Apocalypse - Q3 2023
- Super Street Fighter 6 - Q4 2023
- Final Fight Remake - Q2 2024
- Power Stone Remake - Q3 2024
- Ultra Street Fighter 6 - Q4 2024
- Captain Commando - Q4 2024
- Resident Evil Hank - Q4 2024
See anything you like there? Does the remake of one-time Nintendo exclusive Resident Evil 4 get you excited? Perhaps Monster Hunter 6 is more up your alley? Are you pleased that the leak hints that Capcom is finally, finally making a sequel to the awesome Dragon's Dogma? Maybe you're pinching yourself in disbelief that we're actually getting a remake of the classic Dreamcast title Power Stone?
Of course, we wouldn't imagine for a second that all of these games will be Switch-bound (if they're happening at all), but there's a good chance that at least some of them will hit Nintendo's machine.
Let us know what you make of this list with a comment below.

Man, this is a huge leak, this is cool and all, but I feel guilty for Capcom.
Power Stone AT LAST 🎉
Power stone. Woohoo!
I’m all here for powerstone. That’s the only title on this list I want to play BADLY.
No. Both in the fact that it’s morally bankrupt to be picking at the carcass of a criminal act and that this leak just isn’t true. Why both Biohazard and Resident Evil if it’s a Japanese leak? Why 3 different versions of Street Fighter VI if V moved to seasons, which is how 99% of these fighters work? Too many games that fans want to believe.
Where is my megaman battle network collection
Holy cow, that's 4 years of content that just casually leaked.
I can't imagine how damaging this must be. Just imagine if somebody leaked Nintendo's software lineup from now until 2024 - there would be Switch 2 games in the list.
Anyways, looking forward to see what will become of these leaked games.
@Zoda_Fett
Monster Hunter 6 is almost certainly referencing Monster Hunter World 2.
Monster Hunter 5 was the internal codename for Monster Hunter World.
Notice that they have Ultra Street Fighter 6 planned before they even release Street Fighter 6? Something about that feels off-putting. I know it's to be expected in Street fighter but to have it planned before the game is even anywhere close to completion just feels wrong.
Awesome, only 4 years to wait for some of these but I’ll hang in there, I’ve waited 3 and a half years for Bayonetta 3!
@westman98 deleted my comment before I even seen this reply. I looked it up and found that mhw is considered mh5, must’ve forgot about it or have never known in the first place. I don’t think mh6 would be in reference to a separate game considering there was leaks of rise being on pc. Either way I’m thankful it’s back on switch
Not really that exciting when it's not even officially announced yet, for all we know it could just be someone's wet dream of a leak. Maybe we'll have to wait til the Game Award to find out if this is true or not.
@westman98 this is a fake leak based on that alone. They confirmed that rise is the next official mainline game, just as world was a mainline game. Just as generations was not a mainline game, thus not MH5. Lots of fake leaks have been going around and NL should have been more scrutinizing instead of getting caught up in the wave
Power Stone needs to be moved up, and given a third entry in addition to the remake. 4 years is too long of a wait.
Dragon's Dogma 2 and Monster Hunter 6 are what I want!
Oh my gosh...
An unlikely to be true leak with tons of Capcom titles that are every fan's dream and NOT even there we have a new Ace Attorney game! This is so... I mean... give me a second, I need to cry...
No Darkatalkers...... But Powerstone?!?!?! Please remaster Powerstone 1&2! Haha
Come on @damo, don't report info that has supposedly been stolen directly from Capcom's servers. I had hoped this site was above reporting this.
Oh boy, this leak(if true) might hurt sales of Street Fighter VI since everyone can see that they can skip the vanilla and Super versions and just pick up the Ultra version.
What is that Mega Man game? Is it Mega Man 12, Mega Man X9? Could it be one of those two games please?
Also, Captain Commando of all Capcom games is getting a remake or reboot? How many people remember Commando outside of his appearances in Marvel vs Capcom 1 & 2?
Or to put it more bluntly, how many people remember the game he came from? If I recall, Captain Commando was pretty much a blip on Capcom's radar back when it came out in the early 90s.
Dragon’s Dogma!!!! Sorry for the leak Capcom but, YES!!!!
Lots of cool things.
Onimusha in NEW YORK? What the hell
Excited to see what that RE outbreak is. Hoping its a switch game.
I'm glad Dragon's Dogma is alive and well. It's one of the best RPGs of recent times.
I call BS until Capcom themselves announce things, but I'd be all for a Dragon's Dogma 2. That game is amazingly fun and replayable.
Capcom's gonna keep making Capcom games. Surprise surprise.
@Caryslan Doesn’t it sound like a puzzle game? Mega Man Match? I hope it’s not the case.
The timescale is pretty believable. Companies tend to have a road map for the next few years. The lack of titles for next year, however, seems like an over sight so I don't believe it.
Where is Cross x Beats ?
That was the only Rhythm game from Capcom.
IF this leak is real, it is CAPCOM as hell that they would list both Street Fighter 6 AND Super Street Fighter 6 on the same projections listing. I'm surprised the list didn't end with Super Street Fighter 6: Tournament Edition.
Well, I guess I'll wait for Ultra Street Fighter 6 - Q4 2024
No point getting a lesser game 😂
This is interesting : Captain Commando - Q4 2024
Played that game a lot in the arcades. It would be amazing to have a new entry.
Woof, that's quite a big leak. I wonder how Capcom will address this. I mean, if this truly outlines their plans for the next few years, won't it be proven true as they release things in line with it? Maybe they'll just have a blowout event where they officially announce all their stuff and get in front of this.
Personally I don't feel RE4 needs remaking and if true this is just money for old rope again. Remake RE: Code Veronica, RE, RE Zero...sure! Yeah RE/REZ have had remakes but more in the style of the RE2 Remake. There isn't anything more to do with RE4, it hasnt aged at all.
@DsheroX
All of this info was stolen from Capcom's internal company database. Nothing here is fake.
A new Final Fight! Oh happy day! 😊
Oh, it's not until 2024 ☹️
Oh and also this is priceless:
Street Fighter 6 - Q3 2022
Super Street Fighter 6 - Q4 2023
Ultra Street Fighter 6 - Q4 2024
I'll keep my expectations low for these, but would be cool if they came to be. Half unrelated but would really love to see original Strider make its way to the Switch, would be a great fit
Come on final fight be a sprite based game! Got a super retro Cade today and been playin 1 to 3 xxx
Resident Evil Hank? Do you try and sell propane and propane accessories during the Raccoon City outbreak?!
Ooww more resident evil but please don't put Chris in it .
Final fight remark sound interesting but how about a sequel.
I now a lot of people want mega man so here's hoping for that game for them
Street fighter hopefully be good as I did not get to play 5.
Only down side I can see right now a lot of the date seem very far away .
@westman98 lots of people are jumping on this and putting fakes out there too. Don't assume this came from the real leak
@westman98 These are ‘reports’ from the hack. It’s literally the easiest thing in the world for someone to say that it was part of the hack. Did you go onto Capcom’s server and verify that this file is on there?
Streetfighter 6 hell yeahh
New Ace Attorney! Finally!
How sure are we that this leak is real and not some elaborate marketing stunt?
@nessisonett
I have obviously not been through Capcom's servers as I am not one of the hackers lol. What kind of question is that?
I have however seen the files that were datamined from Capcom's servers and I can confirm that they are real. Heck, there are even Capcom's sales projections to go along with many of these listed games.
@graysoncharles because they did not confirm the specific contents, watch this. The leak also had a new game, Megaman Omega. A megaman fighting game featuring characters from every megaman series. It was definitely in that leak, don't question it
Yet no Breath of Fire. Lesigh.
@BionicDodo I too, believed for a minute this guy's weren't going to fall for the clics and stick with capcom by not making articles basses on the stolen info, guess I was hoping for too much...
Watch none of these come to Switch... >.>
It's a real disgrace what these keyboard losers did. They likely have no life, no friends, and no job, so why not hack into a company where people have to work? I'm sick of these people.
I don't know how true the hacked info is. I'm inclined to think Capcom had a working list of what they may have planned, with changes always happening. Almost like a rough draft. If true, it's good to see Capcom actively thinking ahead and actually focusing on game development. I wish other companies like Konami would do the same, especially with untapped, or forgotten libraries.
Lmao this has to be a joke
Resident Evil 4 DOESN'T NEED A REMAKE. That being said, "leaks" are bad for business, and Capcom should take legal action.
Lol @ milking street fighter 6 before it's even made
POWER STONE!! But def wouldn't mind the Dreamcast ports of RE2, RE3, Dino Crisis, and RE:CV... and perhaps a version of the CLASSIC RE1 that's NOT the "Director's Cut?"
Of course, any value this list has is invalidated by the fact that we and by extension competitors get to see it. Capcom would be fools not to switch up their plans after this occurred.
Leakers are scum. If a game or an announcement or whatever is going to happen, it'll happen. Knowing ahead of time or having a release date move doesn't really change anything in the long run, does it? Ugh.
I get the feeling this is a fake leak capitalizing on the legitimate ransomware. Too many oddities, like the absence of Pragmata
Oh man power stone got them on my dream cast amazing games love them exciting
I want to feel bad for Capcom, but also screw them for releasing a new (better?) version of street fighter every single year.
Capcom working on the next US Presidential election cycle and we can't even get this one finished yet.
P O W E R
S T O N E
This is wonderful news!
2024!?? Jesus. I want Power Stone now and now I know it's actually coming, a four year wait is going to be tough.
4 years? Didn't know they planned that far ahead...but...POWER STONE? That is overdue.
The Street Fighter 6 versions are hardly surprising.
Any word on when Super Duper Ultra Extra Special Edition Street Fighter 6 will come out?
Wait a minute, Monster Hunter World...
...
So is 6 going to be called Monster Hunter Galaxy?
...
No wait, Monster Hunter 64, then Sunshine...
If only I could believe and trust this gloriousness
Hahah here we go again, Super streetfighter 6, Ultra streetfighter 6... Next Ultimate Streetfighter 6, Supreme streetfighter 6, Streetfighter 6 Remake 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
@Darlinfan : Yeah, that's true too. I guess my anger at these hackers clouded my thinking. A bad apple is a bad apple, no matter the situation.
@HotGoomba___Rebrand
THIS LIST Is all FAKE. I know a game from they yet to be announced and is not among this ones. And I not believe exactly and just the one I know was be skiped if the list was real. And let me clear about it. I know not because someone told me.
2024... daaaaaaaamn.
A shame about this hack if true.
But... IF really true, and then being able to look forward to a new Final Fight AND a new Power Stone? Hell yeah, I'd be all over those.
@nessisonett just ignoring the various releases Capcom did for SFV are we?
As long as you can go from vanilla SF 6 to Ultra SF 6 without having to purchase an entirely new game at full price, I'm okay with it. Each version is a year apart from the other. Typically, this would help bring in new players as time passes. With these leaks though.... who knows. Vanilla could be DOA if everyone waits for Super or Ultra.
GIVE ME THAT POWER STONE REMAKE AND POWER STONE 2 REMAKE AS WELL!!!! I’LL PAY MONEY RIGHT NOW FOR THEM!!!!!!!
ANOTHER DRAGON'S DOGMA!? YES!
@tkdboy1889
It is just kinda DLC and way better than what they did with Street Fighter V, what a crappy Solution to monetize the Game.
I dunno....this reads too much like a fanboy wet dream. And the usage of both Biohazard and Resident Evil is weird as well.
Not really buying into this as being completely legit, though some are bound to be true by sheer chance.
Listen Internet. You lie to me so much that I've learned not to take anything you say at face value. It's just how you are. I don't like it, but have learned to accept it.
That said, Power Stone had better be real. This is sacred ground you are treading on, and if I find out you are lying to me, we are done. Do you hear me Internet?! If this is a lie, WE... ARE... DONE!!!
Still not getting a new Darkstalker lends this a lot of credibility.
The multiple Street Fighter versions make this look incredibly suspect. After the noise they made about not doing this with 5, then pretty much botching the launch, I can't see them reverting back to what has essentially become a running joke.
A few of these are gimmes and others make it look like somebody's personal wish list.
I don't buy it, but I'll buy some of these if it turns out to be true 🥁
Why does it have to be so long for a new Power Stone... It's been nearly 2 decades.
RE4 is so timeless, Code Veronica should be remaked first
You guys really need to change the headline from ‘leak’ to ‘hack’. I know it’s acknowledged in the first sentence, but there really is a big difference. I’m fine with us all talking about it, but let’s just admit the info is a result of theft.
Hold up. The Mega Man team behind 11 said they were already working on the next game a while back. Also, despite mentioning Mega Man Match, there is 0 mention of the upcoming Battle Network mobile vaguely battlechip themed game that is due any day now, not 2022.
I don't believe this list.
A final fight remake will take until 2024? What? That’s a weird end date for a sidescrolling game...
Yay! Thanks for the heads up, that’s a lot of money I will save! Lol
I call fake. You don't need 3+ years to make a game like Power Stone.
This has to be bait.
Also, there's no Bionic Commando on that list.
Please let Power Stone be true. There's no modern game that plays like it.
Power Stone is, sadly, too good to be true. I'll remain skeptic of this one.
Something about seeing the plans to release the various SF6 versions is somewhat amusing.
Power Stone was my most played game on Dreamcast so I'm super hyped but, oof... Q3 2024?? Dang.
Oh I'll take a power stone.
of all Resident Evil that Capcom could remake, they decided to release the near masterpice that is RE4, oh tipical of you Capcom.🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♀️ why not remake RE:Code Veronica, a Resident Evil game that a remake could expande and fix many of it flaws.
I don't know if believe it or not. I don't see any Megaman X9 or at the very least a game titled Megaman X. I only see Rockman Match (which seems to mean that's a fighting game).
Given that (iirc) Megaman 11 became a success, it makes no sense to not develop a sequel of X, which left X8 in a plot hanging. At least that's the only Megaman listed here that I have seen in this news. Happy for those that wanted Power Stone finally get it, even if it's at the end of the (at least original) Switch's life.
Megaman X DiVE don't interest me because it's a mobile cash grab and I rather pay $60 for a full game. I can handle DLCs if it's done like BotW or Xenoblede DE (which I heard good things about).
Id love a Final Fight remake.
Rumour was that RE4 was getting a VR release.
I wonder how many of these are exclusive to PS5... I don’t wanna buy one. My PS4 is already slammed full of games that I don’t have time to play. I mostly play my Switch when I do play... But I’m not gonna live in a fantasy... Dragon’s Dogma 2 isn’t coming to PS4 or Switch... maybe an upgraded version of the PS5 Pro will be ready by then.
Dragons dogma, power stone, final fight, onimusha and captain commando? I won't hold my breath. Also, thats A LOT of games for a company like Capcom. In the last four years they've really only released three RE games, a new monster hunter, a devil may cry and new Megaman and I'm supposed to believe they're pushing out more content than a first party studio or a third party juggernaut like ubisoft? I would love to be proven wrong but this just looks like one of those fake smash roster leaks that pop up on resetera now and then.
@hadrian it has aged.. even on PC @ max settings.. some are really ugly low resolution stuff. It could use a remake for hardware today. Then no need for mods
@Chowdaire But they will release Dragon's Dogma. The creator of the first one got a choice and he went for Devil May Cry 5 instead Dragons Dogma 2. His next focus would be Dragons Dogma as he stated himself. Go watch on youtube about it. So be positive and maybe we will get it soon
What I wouldn't give for a new Final Fight. Especially if it got the SoR4 treatment.
Hahah, look at their plans!!
Street Fighter 6 - Q3 2022
Super Street Fighter 6 - Q4 2023
Ultra Street Fighter 6 - Q4 2024
INGENIOUS!
Learn from this kids! This is how you milk the money out of your loyal fanbase.
Oh man, if it's true about a NEW ONIMUSHA!!! Loved replaying the recent remaster on Switch.
\(^▽^)/ \( ̄▽ ̄)/ \(^▽^)/
Dragon's Dogma 2, Mega Man Match, Resident Evil 4 Remake, Resident Evil Hank, Resident Evil Outrage, and Monster Hunter 6 are all I want. Nothing else on the list!
I've been saying for years and years and years a Final Fight remake should happen, please be true and don't f##k it up
I must say that Resident Evil 4 HD remaster is not obsolete or as outdated as original RE2.. How better can they make the remake?
New Megaman game? Sweet!
I’m still hoping to see a Megaman as a cell shaded FPS. Swap guns and abilities and take down huge robots.
Fingers crossed
@Caryslan a blip? Lol it’s their namesake...he’s literally named After their company, so yeah, I’d say a remake has value. Especially in modern times where both nostalgia and fun nonsense beatemups are having somewhat of a resurgence.
Also, for people like you who don’t even really remember it, it will give people some insight and understanding in a very important part of their companies history.
@Thumbsofsteel wasn’t that already released as Mega Man Legends? Or are you thinking more like their scrapped idea of a Metroid Prime clone called Maverick Hunter?
Where oh where is MvC.... : /
The Final Fight remake appeals to me, though its pixel artwork is what I like most about the arcade version
What's Power Stone?
@Magrane Ever since Metroid Prime, I’m fully convinced a 1st person Megaman would work.
Just gimme a celshaded anime style FPS Megaman game. Keep the same artistic vibe. But I want to play in that world through the eyes of Megaman.
I had to look up Maverick Hunter as I had never heard of it. I would have preferred the visual style of Legends tbh.
Even if these are accurate, they're forever away... So, meh.
Resident Evil Hank is probably RE9 (IX) (it could be Hunk instead as some has suggested).
HANK with the "K" styled towards an X and the last part of the "N" being the I. Just like they have done it with VII and VIII.
It seems the RE main (numbered) series comes in trilogies; the original PS One trio; 4, 5 and 6 with the number being on the forefront stylistically (and more or less the same style); and now with roman numerals hidden in the title in 7 and 8.
RE Hank is also releasing Q4 FY 2024, which means in the january-march quarter of 2025. And that's around 4 years after Village, which has been more or less the norm since RE4.
(5 a little over four years later, 6 a little over 3½ years - release was pushed forward a couple of month, 7 a little over 4 years, 8 a little over 4 years - was probably delayed because they had to make a PS4 version too)
Biohazard Apocalypse - Q3 FY 2023 sounds like something of an open world multiplayer game set in the RE universe (maybe a bit like Ubisoft's The Division games?).
It's a pretty wild guess I know, but it does seem like Capcom really wants to break into the Games as a Service market (they keep releasing not particularly successful multiplayer games set in the RE universe).
@NintendoByNature outrage NOT Outbreak
