Available today on Nintendo Switch is Runestone Keeper, a "challenging" roguelike dungeon crawler from CIRCLE Entertainment.
The game is said to blend classic role-playing elements and turn-based combat strategy, with randomly generated dungeons offering something slightly different each time you play. CIRCLE tells us that Runestone Keeper is one of those games that has you wanting to come back for 'just one more go' as you seek to advance further and unlock the game’s mysteries one room at a time.
If you don't want to take their word for it, the game has also received 'very positive' user reviews on Steam since launching there a few years ago, so it really could well be a winner. Here's a feature list to tell you a little more:
Features:
●Randomly Generated Dungeon Elements– Almost everything is generated differently each time to ensure a unique experience!
●Prefix and Suffix-based Equipment– Loot comes with random yet rare prefixes and suffixes. Fight, collect and combine for a killer setup!
●Diverse Monsters- Tread lightly, orbe ganged up on by monsters with complementary abilities that might drive you crazy.
●Items, Traps, Devices and Events- Opportunities for a favorable turn even at the mostdesperate moment. Choose wisely and use the unwelcoming surroundings to your advantage!
●Heroes and Goddesses– Create your hero’s attributes build! Sacrifice to receive your mighty God’s blessing (and later betray him to check out his fury)!
●A Challenging Experience- Prepare to have a tragic (not to mention permanent) death!
It’s available today across North America, Europe and Australia/New Zealand priced at $9.99 / €9,99, but you can actually take advantage of a 10% discount during launch week. If you're interested, make sure to pick it up now while it's a little cheaper.

It looks awful, I've seen better games on the old 16K computers
RPG
Randomised loot
Randomised dungeons
Turn based

Wow this actually has all five main qualifiers for a roguelike. Everything else people are calling a roguelike are roguelite at best.
The best roguelite I've played was Rogue Legacy, and despite my affinity for the genre, none of the others have hit that same button for me.
I keep trying and hoping, but no luck yet. Open to this, contingent on reviews.
The character in the still image of the video looks like Hermione.
Anyone else think that the girl in the promo image looks like Emma Watson? Haha
@Bunkerneath
It needs some polish for sure.
I can vouch for this one. Spent a good 60hrs on Steam with it.
Always looking for a new roguelike... Haven't really clicked with one since Etrian Mystery Dungeon. Although aren't we getting Shiren on Switch?
Ah, this looks like the mobile game series, Dungelot. Not sure if Dungelot was the first to use that "uncover the tiles" approach to roguelikes instead of moving a character literally through it. It's a pretty interesting take on things and I enjoyed them for awhile --they were more defeated by f2p pressures than basic mechanics. Hope it supports the touch screen because that's really the idea.
I was excited, but then saw the video...Meh...
@Octorok385
We are and I'm stoked we're getting it.
