Update: As a quick reminder, Drink More Glurp is launching today on Nintendo Switch. You'll find it available on the eShop for $9.99 / £7.99 / €8.99, and you can learn all about it in our original article below.

Original Article (Wed 22nd Jul, 2020 10:05 BST): Yogscast Games and developer Catastrophic_Overload have today announced Drink More Glurp for Nintendo Switch, a very bonkers and potentially hilarious physics-based party game.

Set on a distant world, Drink More Glurp sees a bunch of aliens attempting to copy our very own Olympics, but things aren't quite the same. You'll be tasked with controlling your noodle-armed alien, trying to make them run, jump, and throw their way through events and as you can see from the trailer, that's probably going to be harder than it sounds.

It offers support for up to 20 local players at a time - yes, twenty - and you'll also find online leaderboards should you want to compete against others around the world. Here's some PR:

After watching Earth TV, Drink More Glurp’s aliens think great competition is all about paid sponsorships. Sponsors have seized control of events and twisted them to fit their brand’s agenda, creating havoc for the alien athletes and keeping players constantly on their toes. What happens when Gravitol Weightloss lowers the world’s gravity, or when Electromagnetic Rave gives competitors LASER HANDS?

Drink More Glurp Features:
- Local multiplayer Party Mode for 2-20 Players
- Thousands of possible event and sponsor combinations
- Single player Challenge Mode with online leaderboards and replays
- Silly physics
- Now with MORE Glurp

The game will launch on 6th August, available for $9.99 / £7.99 / €8.99. If you decide to pre-order it ahead of release, you'll benefit from a 10% launch discount.
