Japanese developer Jupiter has confirmed that its upcoming action game, Working Zombies, will launch on Nintendo Switch next week.
The company, perhaps best known for making more Picross titles than we could ever hope to count, is back with a game which centres around our need to be loved - and the undead. You'll be playing as kindhearted zombies who are shunned by the human race simply for being zombies, hoping to win them over by working hard in a variety of job roles:
- Flight Attendant
- Nursery School Teacher
- Hairstylist
- Plumber
The game supports local multiplayer for up to four players and will be available to buy from 18th June, directly from the Switch eShop. Expect to find it for $19.99 / £17.99.
Think you might give this one a go? Fun fact - Jupiter was responsible for both Pokémon Pinball for Game Boy Color and Pokémon Pinball: Ruby & Sapphire on the GBA!

If there's a more endearing premise for a game this year, I'll eat my hat
It isn't my type of game, but the trailer music is epic. I may just rewatching it for the music alone.
So it's Diner Dash but with zombies (and some different job styles).
Not sure if adorable, slightly uncomfortable allegory for racism/immigration, or both.
looking at the plane level that must be only bugger in the world where you could keep social distancing lol
It looks cute, but I watched the whole trailer expecting in the gameplay some zombiesque twist that never happened.
This looks cute! Might buy it to play with my husband
Totally cute! Also a bit of a dystopian subtext with a whole class of service workers being recast as the undead looking for social acceptance by performing labor (which is not super far-fetched, tbh).
My wife and me love playing these types of games toguether so its a day 1 buy for me.
The zombies look extremely tacked on in comparison to the gameplay. Hopefully it's still fun!
Would you really leave your kid with a zombie??
Yep looks cool.
Played the demo, nothing for me.
