With yet another week down, this time bringing with it a newly-found Animal Crossing glitch, a super gorgeous Super Mario 64 PC port, and all sorts of interesting stats from Nintendo's fiscal year earnings report, it's finally time to sit back and enjoy the weekend.
Members of Team Nintendo Life have gathered together to discuss our weekend plans, and we'd love for you to join in via our poll and comment sections below. Enjoy!

It’s a lovely long bank holiday weekend in the rather infected United Kingdom, and in absence of being able to do anything outside of these four walls, some friends and I will be mashing out some games on Realm Royale. Bit of an odd choice, granted, but one of my friends is a tight git and there aren’t many other (vaguely) Halo-like experiences on Switch right now.
After all the shooting and drinking and the weekend begins proper, I’ll be having a right ruddy good time with Lonely Mountains: Downhill, so I’ll no doubt bash a bit of that out as well, not to mention some patented Super Smash Bros. Ultimate for good measure.
Aside from that, phwoar, I’m really not sure. I’ve been working on creating a classically-styled world in Super Mario Maker 2 which I’m keen to crack on with, but at the same time Animal Crossing is so just bloody there.

Yesterday, I finally paid off the last-but-one loan in Animal Crossing: New Horizons, meaning I can finally start to properly organise the rooms in my house. I have fairly big plans for the bigger rooms, but seeing the prices of some of the items I want to put in them is rather terrifying. It doesn't help that I'm not playing the game quite as much as I was at launch, either, as I'm starting to save a little less money in-game with each passing week.
As I mentioned last week, I've also been spending a little more time trying to beat Resident Evil 4 on Wii. Every time I feel like I must be near the end, another huge chunk of the map opens up. It really does feel like I'm nearing the end this time, though, so hopefully I'll soon be able to check this one off my embarrassingly long list of shame.

This weekend I’m gonna be continuing to mess around with two absolute crackers that I’ve had the pleasure of reviewing on Switch over the past week, Awesome Studio’s Fury Unleashed and Blue Manchu’s Void Bastards. They’re both roguelikes that really couldn’t be more different in terms of mechanics and tone - one’s a bright and anarchic Dead Cells style platformer, the other a wonderfully unique and grimy first-person space shooter – but they do share a cool comic book aesthetic that’s deployed to excellent effect in both games.
Elsewhere I’ll be continuing to experiment with the latest Super Mario Maker 2 update, dying repeatedly at the hands of my son’s bewildering creations and finally actually getting to grips with Deadly Premonition Origins, a game I’ve been meaning to play for absolutely ages. Have a good weekend, everyone, and stay safe.

I’ve heard very good things about Void Bastards and wouldn’t mind checking that out this weekend, but I got Galak-Z: The Void on sale a couple of weeks back and it's still sitting untouched on my Switch. I’ve also got the excellent Streets of Rage 4 to finish, plus a dozen other things I should dip into before splashing more cash on the eShop. Plus, I’ll need to swing by the Able Sisters’ shop to make sure I don’t miss out the latest fashion. I’m on the bleeding edge of the fashion scene, me – the toast of Milan! Paris! And er, other places where they wear… clothes.
Oh, it’s been a long week, okay? Have a good one, everyone.

Now that I have the world’s biggest live gig stage it is time to build a wrestling ring in Animal Crossing: New Horizons. Streets of Rage 4 continues to entertain but I can’t ignore a slew of great content being dropped on the eShop: Gun Crazy, ITTA, 80’s Overdrive, Slayin 2, Void Bastards, Lonely Mountains: Downhill, Fury Unleashed, Jay & Silent Bob: Mall Brawl and Task Force Kampas. Not all fun and games, mind. I am also working on the often requested review of Space Invaders: Invincible Collection for you fine folks.
My game of the week is Trials of Mana. The real trial was actually getting a copy of the game, but I eventually managed to secure one from Germany. Fear not, Ich spreche sehr gut Deutsch.
As always, thanks for reading! Make sure to leave a vote in the poll above and a comment below with your gaming choices over the next few days...

Legend of Zelda a Link to the Past on SNES. Super Mario Sunshine on the GC.
Playing lots of Animal Crossing daily, finishing off Maitetsu: Pure Station and squeezing in some Lonely Mountains: Downhill, Groove Coaster and One Step From Eden. Keeping busy.
Still Animal Crossing but I'll give it not more than maybe one month.
Animal Crossing: New Horizons - I have no specific goals right now. Just doing whatever I feel like doing.
Etrian Odyssey Untold: The Millennium Girl - Halfway through Stratum 3. I've done all the side quests along the way.
Ring Fit Adventure - 30 days in. In world 9. I knew I'd like the game but I didn't know I'd like it this much.
This week I will be mostly playing
Final Fantasy 7 (middle of “disc 2”)
Dr Mario Miracle Cure
After beating FFX I’ve started Braverley Default.
I’m finding the battle system and the way you can grind when you want and experiment with the job system very addictive. I love the art style, characters and soundtrack too.
It still feels though that the parts are greater than the whole. It might be because the story so far tying things together is just ok.
Astral Chain and Sayonara: Wild Hearts.
Just got the axe legion in Astral Chain, game is amazing!
Playing animal crossing new horizons. Also bought scribblenauts collection and yu-gi-oh! Legacy of the duelist.
Also feeling like playing shovel knight, castlevania SOTN and persona 4 golden again.
Finished up Cat Quest 2 with my wife last weekend (probably my favourite game I've played this year so far. We had so much fun). Although we just started Moving Out last night and played a handful of stages, having an absolute blast. It wouldn't surprise me if that game took my GOTY spot.
In terms of single player goodness, I'm more than halfway into Splasher. It's a fun and super smooth splatformer (you know, I misspelled platformer, and thinking about it, it really is a splatformer), but there are quite a few deaths that kill me in a split second, and my brain lags behind as I sit there in shock, shrugging my arms in confusion and wondering what the heck killed me. These deaths can be quite frustrating, but the game is so good otherwise, that it keeps me playing.
Also started Double Cross a few days ago, and it's not as bad as reviews made it out to be. I was turned off initially about the awkwardness of the animation, but I eventually got used to it. Level design is pretty fun, and I'm actually growing accustomed to the characters. It's really just a bright, happy game, which is what I really need right now. And if I end up not liking it later...well, I picked it up super cheap on sale, so it wouldn't be much of a loss.
I'm spending a lot more time in the garden, trying to soak up the sun and fresh air while I can so spending alot of time on Animal Crossing and Stardew Valley.Nothing new there then.
I find the Switch is terrible for reflecting in the sun though..I mean seriously,it gets so bad sometimes I can hardly see what's happening on screen!
When I'm inside I'll be continuing my Final Fantasy VII Remake playthrough..on chapter 17 now so unfortunately coming up to the end. It's been such a fantastic game that I think I'm going to feel a lot more impatient for the next installment that I ever was when they first announced a remake.
I'll also be playing Moving Out which I'm having a blast with.
I just started Valkyria Chronicles 4, which I bought last November and never had time to dig into.
It's time to knuckle down and finally get the last bit of Persona 4 Golden done. I wanna at least get a few hours in tomorrow.
Maybe some Bayonetta and ACNH as well.
FE3H. I finished the DLC side story so now starting my first NG+ run with a new house. Let's see if Golden Deer can compete with my first house (Black Eagles). Not really fair on Golden Deer as I've already decided to make room for Anna and all four of the Cindered Wolves.
Hoping to play some Final Fantasy VII Remake and Trials of Mana.
Hoping to finish Final Fantasy X this weekend and I've just started Doom 64, so probably more of that.
Animal Crossing: New Horizons for sure but also wearing out the Hatsune Miku: Project Diva Mega Mix demo. One more week to go till my song list is multiplied by 50!
Alien Isolation on my Switch and Bloodstained on my PS4.
I might finish Xenoblade 3D this weekend. Right near the end I think, just need a bit more grinding before I can defeat what I presume is one of the final bosses. Once I’m finished I’m considering starting Ocarina of time, one I’ve never played before.
On Switch it’ll be more FE3H.
I'll be trying to beat the outstanding Streets of Rage 4, I'm up to Stage 10 and so far there's not been a dull moment. Even as a huge fan of beat em ups, I own around 18 on Switch, I start to find them repetitive after a while. Not SoR4 though, it keeps you on your toes and mixes things up enough to prevent it from ever feeling repetitive. 27 years I've waited for a beat em up to top Final Fight on the Mega CD and I finally have it.
When I'm not playing SoR4, I'll be playing Rocket League and perhaps, I'll get round to doing what I've said I was going to do for the last 3 weekends, start one of Hyper Light Drifter or Ori and the Blind Forest.
I’m trying to attack my backlog, which at the moment means I’m about ten hours into the first Golden Sun game on my GameBoy Micro (and occasionally the GameBoy Player on GameCube, when I’m in the mood to look at a bigger screen). On Switch, I’m still actively and daily playing bits of Animal Crossing: New Horizons, plus I got my hands on a cheap copy of the port of Go Vacation, which is definitely a trip down memory lane. I’m trying to resist the urge to replay old games at the moment and focus on ones that are new to me, but with all this extra time on my hands inevitably I’ve drifted into noncommittal replays of Super Mario 64 and Earthbound, as well.
The main game I've been running through over the past couple days is Kingdom Hearts: Final Mix (PS3). I'm also playing Animal Crossing: New Horizons every day, and trying to get through Final Fantasy VII on Switch.
Animal Crossing of course but also trying random games in SuperMash.
Being in Lockdown, I've had replay and study of Skyrim. First play through (year ago), I clocked-in 90 hours as a heavy armoured swordsman. Then gave up when the game levelled against me. So now I've clocked in another 100 with more success as a thief - and more considered use of skills & perks. Also I'm having a hoot as I'm playing outside the main quest and have thrown the moral compass off some mountain range. Honestly the sheer depth and freedom is amazing, as is that beutiful choral night music. Anyways, that's what I'm playing.
I'll be playing Void Bastards this weekend
I’m still getting an hour or two in in Animal Crossing New Horizons. I’m also playing Dead Cells and NiOh 2. Truthfully, I’m just biding my time until Huntdown releases Tuesday.
I have played Animal Crossing every day since release.
Also picked up Disgaea 4 on sale from the eshop. Starting that.
I’ll split my time between two games this weekend. First Resident Evil 4. Love the game but the lack of gyro really annoys me and stops it from being a great play.
I’m also back on Breath of the Wild. Loving that game and I reckon I’m around halfway through.
I picked up a 3DS a few weeks ago, I’d never owned one and my partner has been hogging the Switch on account of Animal Crossing.
Every game is a brand new experience and I feel like I’ve achieved gaming Nirvana! I finished Link Between Worlds and Rayman 3D. (I also Tried Professor Layton and realized I might be too dumb)
But this weekend it’s all about Shin Megami Tensei: Strange Journey! It was the only game at Target that wasn’t a Nintendo first party, so I jumped in blind. This game is friggin wild!
Assasins creed black flag(from the rebel collection)
Baba is you!
super mega baseball 2 (3 is coming in the 13th!!)
and animal crossing as every day.
but tonight i will watch star wars episode ix the first time. yehaw!
Ever Oasis on 3DS
Crash Team Racing on Switch
Animal Crossing: New Horizons and Mario Kart 8.
Animal Crossing is going to keep me busy for this weekend (and homework)!
Splatoon 2 to level up the Splatfest tee ahead of what must surely be the final Splatfest (which will end with an announcement for the overdue Splatoon 3? - I can dream!). Also a bit of MK8 Deluxe. Still the best game for multiplayer with the family. May crack on with some more of Jedi Fallen Order too, which I'm really enjoying. The VE day celebrations yesterday drew my mind to games set in that era so I may have a go at Call of Duty WWII or World at War.
Preloaded XC1 is the definition of "so near and yet so far", but XC2 has got my back anytime, and I've just advanced chapter 7 enough to cement Nia as one of my favourites. Fire Emblem Echoes also in the plans as per usual. Some other Switch titles from the recently attended Welcome to Primrose Lake (while appreciative of the genre since beating all of the first Cake Mania on DS, I've never got around to playing any other representatives since, so it even feels a bit nostalgic now) to the freshly obtained Highrise Heroes.
@Donutsavant the original Strange Journey was my first SMT game (not counting Another Bible, but that one boasted notably different gameplay) and left a huge impression on me. Random save corruption didn't even discourage me from restarting the game twice, and I only got stuck at Law route's final boss in the end. Got Redux at launch, and it's even more meaty with all the voiced cutscenes and new story content.
It also spoiled me to hell and back with a separate screen map. Trying the first SMT on SNES afterwards, it felt like a comparative ORDEAL to wade through several menus every time I wanted to consult with one. Honestly, separate JRPG maps are probably one of the best things the dual screen era brought to life, and something I'll probably miss. In games like Xenoblade 2, I already do.😆
Animal crossing is a daily game for me, even if its only for 30 mins. Other than that ive finally started digging through my backlog starting with Cadence of Hyrule and Fire Emblem Awakening.
Playing around with my Super64 this weekend when I get the chance. Honestly slick mode has to be seen to be believed. Oh and obligatory Witcher3 and Rocket League.
I gave up on Hob for the moment so now I have to pick a new game to play. The other night I started up Piczle Lines DX again 😅 since I’m still working through the last puzzle pack. It’s just easy to keep coming back to it since it’s not demanding.
Also keep up Rise of the Tomb Raider on Xbox... simply fantastic.
Happy gaming everyone!
Little bit of super Mario maker, but mostly animal crossing and ff9. I might dabble into either phantasy star 4 or dragon quest 1, not sure i wana have 2 rpgs going.
Been caning Botw but getting bit bored now got 97 shrines, played it back in 2017 got about 100. Serious question I know there are 120 in game if I remember correctly from guides and stuff, but does it mention anywhere in the game that there are 120 and no more. How do you know u have found them all? Anyway korok trials after lunch! X x x x
I will be playing more Animal Crossing. I will probably also be playing some of the Assassins Creed Rebel Collection and Monster Hunter World on Xbox One.
Looots of Resident Evil 3 Remake. Probably some Age of Empires 2. Maybe some Smash.
I have been/will be playing lonely mountains downhill, void bastards and the total surprise that has been shinsekai into the depths. I picked it up when it released as I was fascinated by the under water exploration but had a couple of other games to finish first. So glad I bought it- such a great atmosphere but needs to be played with headphones in, anyone looking for something a bit different I recommend it!
Finally got a 5 star rating on animal crossing, fully upgraded my house and got the gold watering can and axe. I’ll probably play it less now.
Still trying to resist streets of rage 4
Tokyo Mirage Sessions #FE Encore, FF7 remake
Just some dailies in Asphalt 9 and hopefully more Mario and Sonic Olympics this weekend. I did get Star Wars Racer on PC this past week (thank you Star Wars sales), been reliving the game from when I played it during the N64 days. Playing more of that too.
@SterlingEyes do not resist, it’s a very good game 😉
Been playing 80’s Overdrive, but it keeps crashing on me and I hate that you can’t costumize the controls. Throttle is on the a button which is stupid.
Just bought MK11, so I’ll be playing that instead.
@dewokkel it looks great but feels overpriced so trying to wait for a sale
I’ve played so much Animal Crossing the last weeks that I now put it aside for a while. I’m now playing Armello, which is a brilliant game indeed.
Still haven’t wrapped up Monsterboy, which is taking me a lot longer than anticipated (currently over 20 hours in ) but should be on the home stretch now.
Looking to progress further on SoR4 (hard mode) and Trine 4 as well.
My wife and I recently dusted off the WiiU to play some SMBU and DK Tropical Freeze together. Still just can’t get on with this Mario, but we’re having a good time with DK so will be playing some more of that.
Im also planning on finally joining the rest of the world in buying Animal Crossing this weekend. After a series of smaller E-shop purchases, it feels like the right time to go with something a bit larger in scope.
Gwent........i mean, the switcher
Lonely Mountains is ace, Moto GP 20(Needs patching though) & Snooker 19
It's all about Transistor this weekend. Though, the discovery that I can play SNES games online with a mate was the best thing that happened to me yesterday. Was playing this little-known gem called Super Mario World
Animal Crossing New Horizons and Need For Speed Heat on the Xbox One
Bowsers inside story and galaxy 2
Looking at the poll, I’m really surprised how few people are playing Lonely Mountains: Downhill this weekend. Get on that one, folks.. it’s fantastic! Plus it’s being updated with a much nicer icon real soon! 😅
After finishing the first run of FE3H I started Dragon Quest IX while keep exploring the hotel with GF in Luigi's Mansion 3. Plus some splatoon 2 aside.
DOOM 2! Man, is it just me or is it noticeably harder than DOOM? I have some eShop money, would anyone care to recommend some games? Have a lovely weekend, take care everyone.
@GregamanX Have you played 20XX yet? I reckon that might be right up your street!
What about Wonderful 101? That game is the only thing being played at my house right now.
Super Fun and a Super Fun Story
@AmplifyMJ Lonely Mountains would be my big recommendation from the last few weeks. Indivisible is fantastic, too. Lastly, check out Ministry of Broadcast. All three are top drawer eShop indies!
Finished Trials of Mana yesterday (great remake). Not sure what to focus on right now, some weeks before Xenoblade Chronicles. Not that I don’t have anything to play, far from it! I have started up a lot of Switch games, so I just have to choose which one to get back into. RE4? DQI?Deadly Premonition? Pokémon Mystery Dungeon (I’m at the final dungeon)?
Besides playing the game of Get Mother's Day Card + Gift (apparently that's already tomorrow; it almost slipped my mind!), I'll be playing more Fire Emblem Fates: Birthright on the 3DS. I'm trying to mop up the last two paralogues I have available. The one for Ryoma's kid...is hard. Probably should have done it sooner, but I wanted those free Offspring Seals. XD
For shorter sessions/FE breaks, I'm defaulting to Final Fantasy Adventure from Collection of Mana. I'm very impressed with the game so far. How did something like it begin life on the humble Game Boy?!
Have a blessed weekend! Stay safe all!
I caught the Animal Crossing bug once again after getting back into the game. The UX is designed so well that each button press in the menus and conversation bubbles are so satisfying.
Also getting back into my play-through with BOTW after my 8Bitdo SN30+ controller arrived in the mail, along with the collector's edition guidebook. The controller is amazing, the analog sticks perhaps even better than Sony's DS4: very grippy, perfect tension (even customizable), all for much cheaper than first-party controllers. Couldn't be happier with my purchase.
I grew up with physical guidebooks for my favorite games, so I have intense nostalgia for them. There's something much more cozy about keeping a book close by to answer any questions I may have instead of trying to navigate janky online blogs filled with ads. Plus, the collector's edition is a beauty.
I will be playing the usual animal crossing CITY FOLK, Earthbound and Aria of Sorrow. I cant stand New Horizons. Maybe I will play it once
Nintendo finish the game
I picked up the Digimon Cyber Sleuth on switch recently when they were on sale, and am having a great time with it so far. I have never played a Digimon game before, despite being a fan of it growing up. Beyond that, maybe I'll finally get Animal Crossing?
@SterlingEyes I get that. It’s a really fun title, but the story was a bit short indeed. I pre-ordered, so I got a small discount.
@AmplifyMJ maybe Doom 3. Still holds up very well.
Got back into Splatoon 2. Forgot how much I missed that game (and how frustrating online can be sometimes).
@dewokkel I have DOOM 3! I’m actually quite far in to it, still a real looker of a game! I stopped it to replay DOOM, looking for all the secrets, then I started DOOM 2 so I intend to finish it then go back to DOOM 3. But thank you! Thanks also @The_Pixel_King I’ll let you know if I check any of those out.
Still playing Trials of Mana, just picked up AC Rebbel Collection. I love Black Flag.
More XB1 stuff, probably continuing with Shadow of the Tomb Raider among other things. Can't wait until May 29th when there's stuff happening on the Switch front.
Star Wars Jedi Outcast. The first couple of levels are painful, but once you get to the level where you get your force powers from Luke Skywalker, it turns into one of the most fun games I've played in a while. In between that, TG-16 mini, Tetris 99, Pac-man, Frogger.
In terms of new: Lonely Mountain and Fury Unleashed for me. As well as some Wonderful 101 on pc. Runs great and is a blast. Definitely some ACNH, and probably some more of this cheap drag racing game I grabbed. Top Speed? It's just a cheap mobile port, but I like those cheap drag games, and no mtx, and a very low price hooked me.
Also interested in picking up Void Bastards. That's a sneaky solid third party title that hit the console this past Thursday.
Titan Quest. Sure wish the dlc’s would hurry up and get released for the switch like the other consoles
More Streets of Rage 4 methinks...plus I downloaded the Trials of Mana demo, I'll give that a little spin and see what it's about.
I'm mostly going to be playing Pokémon Snap on my N64. I'm also trying to get Super Mario 3D Land to 100%, nut sure if I´ll finish that this weekend tough.
@AmplifyMJ I get the feeling you like shooters. You could try Void Bastards. It’s pretty good, but unforgiving. I just finished Wolfenstein 2. Didn’t look as good as on pc of course, but it was still a lot of fun 👍🏻
This week, i'm playing!
Goldeneye 007 (N64)
Wonder Project J 2 (N64)
Animal Crossing: New Horizons (NSW)
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare (PC)
@dewokkel I have Wolf 2 on Switch as well! When I got my Switch, DOOM was the first game I downloaded, no idea why I just... really wanted it, think I was surprised and delighted it was there, felt like the Switch needed that sort of game in its library and I wanted to encourage that. I’d never played any DOOM game before! I absolutely loved it, and finally got to play DOOM 1993 when it came to the eShop this year, genuinely surprised how much fun I’ve had with it! I’ll pick up DOOM 64 too, at some point, and I cannot wait for Eternal to hit Switch. Thanks again, have a good day.
@Dragonslacker1 I'm pretty sure it's 120 shrines in Breath of the Wild. Once you've completed them you get a quest which earns you special clothes, the green tunic you see Link wearing in most Zelda games.
Still playing Xenoblade Chronicles X, can't seem to get enough of this game lately. Maybe some Mario Kart 8 too.
Just playing ACNH right now. Moving my museum and some villagers’ houses. Maybe try to play Wrath of the White Witch at some point this weekend
Probably playing some Rocket League. I'm leaning toward buying Void Bastards.
@OorWullie There were plenty of Rocket League server issues yesterday. I finally started using the "Report Server" button in the pause menu this month.
When you play ranked, do you usually play 3v3, or 2v2? I just noticed the number of players in the playlist is always way higher in 2v2.
I must have triggered a higher skill level. In casual I'm constantly beat to the ball in aerials, now. However, I'm usually the only one not over-committing.
This weekend, it continues to be Fantasy Life (I can't get enough of this game. 65 hours in, and just started the Carpenter life), as well as SMT: Strange Journey Redux. This game is sooooo good! It is really scratching a specific JRPG sci fi / monster collecting itch.
just got new super mario bros u deluxe! ive been craving a pure mario experience and thats the perfect one! ill also be playing mario maker 2 and luigis mansion 3. maybe some pokemon sword too
Animal Crossing, Picross, Animal Crossing, Picross, lather, rinse, repeat...
ANimal Crossing, Streets of Rage 4 (On Xbox PC gamepass) and Lonely Mountain Downhill (On XBox PC Gamepass too.)
@dewokkel I really like the look of Void Bastards! How does it run on Switch, do you know? And does it have support for motion controls?
If the answer to those two questions is 'well' and 'yes' respectively, I’ll definitely pick it up!
@The_Pixel_King runs good I must say. I almost exclusively play in handheld mode so I’m not sure about docked though. Sadly there are no motion controls. I once bought the Hori split pad pro, so I don’t really need motion controls, but I can see it’s a huge miss. Anyway, it’s a fun title if you like rogue-like game’s. You’re gonna die a lot.
If you’re looking for a good FPS, you could take a look at Ion Fury which will be released in a week.
@AmplifyMJ oh forgot to mention Ion Fury. That’ll be one of the best FPS games on switch I think. It’s out next week and there’s a pre-order discount. It’s a build engine game like Duke Nukem 3D and Blood. Looks really good. Cheers mate 😊
@NikHogan
I bought the WiiU a few years back specifically for that game as I was craving a 2D Mario again (SNES Mario World May be my favorite game of all time) - Unfortunately, I didn’t enjoy NSMB very much. Have tried a couple times now to get into it but I just find it a frustrating game that lacks the ingenuity of other Nintendo platformers and isn’t that much fun to play. Hope you get more enjoyment out of it than I did, but I’m still waiting for a new 2D Mario game that can compete with the best the genre has to offer. A bit disappointed that with all the Mario rumors for releases this year, there hasn’t been a mention of a new 2D game.
a lil AC, a bit of torchlight II some mutant football league. Maybe I'll play some ctr too.
StarTropics and Ecco the Dolphin on the Classics.
NBA2K20, doing a season with the 97-98 Bulls. I traded Steve Kerr because his face creeps me out. Probably some Portal Knights too!
Metroid Prime Trilogy on Wii U VC
@The_Pixel_King Nope, I haven't played 20XX. I have eyed it before, but I think I need a pretty hefty sale to take the plunge, because I still have like, +20 switch games in my backlog, so its not really a priority right now. It does look pretty interesting, but man, I have so many roguelikes already that I haven't had time for.
Super Mario Maker 2 so far for me this weekend. I’m also planning on playing Witcher 3 and some Pokémon Leaf Green.
Animal Crossing New Horizons and Starlink Deluxe edition, since I was able to grab it for cheap with the discount. I also want to keep playing Digimon Cyber Sleuth colection and Hollow Kight but I need my memory card to arrive first.
I just Got Eater 3 for my Switch yesterday, so I'll be spending time with that.
Finishing bits and pieces in Streets of Rage 4, enjoying my 5-star island status on Animal Crossing, then Streets of Rage 2 and Road Rash 2 on Megadrive Mini.
LEGO Batman 2: DC Super Heroes (Vita) - Finally teamed up with Superman and am nearing the end of the game.
Fallout 3 (Games For Windows) - Still doing sidequests and wondering around, will be playing this for months to come.
Monster Burner (Windows Phone) - Just starting out on this one.
Animal Crossing, 80’s Overdrive, and I really need to finish Resident Evil 4, as I am on the second or third to last stage.
Animal Crossing and Deadly Premonition origins on Switch. Metro Exodus on Xbox One X.
@Wazeddie22 play anywhere but not outside on a sunny day, I have the same issue.
Animal Crossing - just like every day, why should the weekend be any different? Lol
I'm also hooked on Slayin 2. The game seems pretty simple at first, then you get to the difficult bosses...it's much deeper than what it appears on surface. And I love the art style too.
I'm also doing more behemoth hunting in Dauntless. I love the look of my character in the game.
Xbox One — Will be continuing with Bioshock Modern Warfare, and Streets of Rage 4
PS4 — Some Horizon Chase Turbo
Pokémon Go as the weather is perfect for it.
Civ 6 for me still. Getting closish to a domination victory i think, although the game drags a bit for me later on so as much as I've enjoyed it I'm looking forward to starting something else. I'll deffo be back to civ again though before long.
Got a surprise from my friend in the mail, Animal Crossing: New Horizons. Guess I know what else I'm playing this weekend.
got animal crossing on may 5 almost stop playing it. been playing through P5R since april 1 and 3 hours into FFVII remake.
Animal Crossing for me. I completed Rise: Race the Future and 198X so far this weekend, so I'm ready for '80s Overdrive.
I also grabbed Dark Burial because it was on sale for £0.08!
I have been playing ACNH like crazy. Makin' them bells to pay off stuff. When i am not crossing animals I have been playing a little Dragon Quest XI. It is fun but very slow sometimes. I found a hockey game called Super Blood Hockey that has been holding my attention for the most part. A little Snack World very fun and funny if you havent played it. And as always PvP in Dark Souls Remaster when I get super bored.
Keep Gaming!
Blaster Master Zero 2 and will get into a little more OG Final Fantasy VII. Pondering if I want 80s Overdrive...
A variety pack this weekend. Castlevania: SotN, Shantae and the Pirate's Curse, Bloodstained: RotN Zangetsu mode, Streets of Rage 4, Salmon Run, Animal Crossing, Trails in the Sky the 3rd. That's about it I think.
I've been playing Splatoon 2 again since one of my friends bought it finally! It's a ton of fun, but I grew tired of it earlier because it wasn't as fun playing alone.
Continuing my quest in Octopath Traveler, and maybe playing a round or two of Fortnite with the kid.
Nothing this weekend. Letting the neighbor kids borrow the switch.
I'm playing Sonic 3: Angel Island Revisited. It's Sonic 3 & Knuckles, but adds widescreen support, the Drop Dash and Super Peel-Out, achievements, Blue Sphere runs at a smoother frame rate and higher resolution, like in Mania, and then there are a bunch of other features as well. It's pretty awesome when fans update an old game to feel like new, and it doesn't get taken down by the company they love... right, Nintendo?
It's either ''Ich spreche sehr gutes Deutsch." oder "Ich spreche sehr gut deutsch."
I'm playing Animal Crossing, and if there's time, I really wanna start Luigi's Mansion 3.
On Switch: 2064: Read Only Memories Integral
On PS4: Uncharted: Nathan Drake Collection
The Witcher 3 - Finishing up Blood and Wine DLC, nearly done with the game. 250 hours so far.
Super Mario Bros U Dulux - Just started playing this, great game.
@WoomyNNYes I had some problems getting on the other day. When searching for a match, it would say 'Joining' then change back to 'Searching'. I checked their Twitter and they never reported any issues.
I prefer 1v1 matches but I usually have both 1v1 and 2v2 on my playlist. I haven't played 3v3 in ages, always found it too chaotic. I love the intensity of 1v1 matches against a similar skilled opponent. Especially low scoring affairs where you're both defending really well. Nothing beats getting a late winner with the score at 1v1,or even better 0v0 but those are rare.
I've never really been much of an aerial player but I have been going that way recently and having some success with it.
