With Super Mega Baseball 3 just around the corner, developer Metalhead Software has released a brand new video to give us a closer look at the game.

As well as showing off some new footage, the video talks us through a broad overview of the things you can expect to find in next month's release. The team stresses that while the game sports a goofy, over-the-top aesthetic style, the baseball sim underneath is a sophisticated and accurate representation of the real deal.

Among other things, such as a quick look at the game's customisation offerings, it also touches upon the single-player experiences available. It sounds like there'll be plenty of options to choose from depending on how long you're wanting to spend with the new release, with one mode in particular promising more than 250 hours in total.
