Complete with this mystery number 4 which crackles and rotates...

Update: The reveal of The Wonderful 101's fancy new Kickstarter campaign has potentially shed light on the 'Platinum4' mystery. It looks like another three new games could be on the way.

Original Article: Bayonetta and The Wonderful 101 developer PlatinumGames has opened a brand new website, sending fans into overdrive and confusing everyone in equal measure.

The studio shared a link to the new site on Twitter this morning, using the hashtag '#Platinum4'. The link leads you to a page showing a single number '4' with a static effect; eventually, the number begins to spin. You can access the site for yourself here if you want to take a look.

So, what on Earth is going on? Fan theories in the replies to this tweet are about as wild as you'd expect - including some who are jokingly predicting the existence of Bayonetta 4 - but nothing's clear at the time of writing. Other ideas suggest it could be a countdown to the expected Wonderful 101 Kickstarter campaign, or that this could be to do with the studio's new self-publishing venture.

Only time will tell, but we're excited to see what comes of it. If you have any wild predictions, feel free to share them with us below...
