Nothing for me. Although I have so many backlogged games to play that that really doesn't matter.
Not sure if the Dark Crystal game will be any good, but the Netflix series is excellent. My wife grew up watching the original movie back in the 80s and the two of us are loving seeing the world and characters they’ve brought to life in the prequel series. And frankly, it’s just rare to find anything new with puppetry and practical effects anymore.
Prison Princess for me. Hopefully Va11halla will come in soon from LRG.
Nothing for me (no money to buy anything), but Dark Crystal is on my radar.
I really want to get Aviary Attorney, but I don't know just yet if i will take the plunge or not.
Got my eye on Arc of Alchemist. Nothing else really catches my attention.
This is the first I’ve heard of Bookbound Brigade, but I’m intrigued. I know there’s like a billion eShop games out there that slip through the cracks but I’d love a review before committing $20
I can’t vote Tecmo Bowl?
Not a bunch for me this week. MIGHT try Dark Crystal but it’s pretty low on my backlog of games I want to buy. Still haven’t picked up FE otherwise I’d be getting the DLC. Only sure but is SSBU DLC pack.
Nothing. I'll consider the second battle pack when we actually have a few of the fighters revealed.
I really hope Dark Crystal is good. Why are there no advance reviews?
I might also get Ash of Gods. That looks great
Hmmmmmmmm
Mmmmmmmmmm
Mmmmmmmmm
Hmmmmmmm?
I'll add to the "Dark Crystal, but what is it?" comments.
Here's last June's trailer when it was due out last year but I won't fault them a month, that's practically early these days.
I have to say it looks pretty good for a $20 game. By that I mean it looks like FFT but w/ colorful 3D graphics that appeal to me. Not sure if it's worth the $20, could be a 90 minute buggy glitchfest of a game, but I am genuinely curious.
Wow, here's an incredibly annoying trailer, maybe should have rethought this one. Kinda dig the tribble w/ an eye patch though.
Now I'm thinking I really should watch the show first, it's really built off of that. Kind of like how FFXV makes no sense w/o watching the 2 hour movie first, which thankfully I did. That game cost a fortune to get it all.
My backlog now includes: finishing Starlink, Mario + Rabbits, Y's VIII, Doom, Celeste, and a bunch of other smaller titles. I think I am good for a little while.
The Dark Crystal for me. I loved the movie as a kid growing up in the 80s and absolutely fell in love with it again when the Netflix series came out. I hope this game does the franchise justice.
I'm going to wait and see for the reviews on Dark Crystal, it looks like it could be right up my alley, though I'm not at all familiar with the brand itself.
Want Dark Crystal and Aviary Attorney.
@Expa0 I'm in the same boat. If it scratches the FFT itch in a very competent way, it'll be worth it and I'll download it very quickly. But if it's another no-effort grab like so many mobile games, then it's pointless.
TECMO BOWL!!!! I'm in. Need on online version of the 8-bit classics with retro and updated rosters and online play. How awesome would that be?!?
Shovelware this week I see
@Mgene15
The Nintendo E-Shop looks like the Google Play and Apple Store every day more. Too much junk
And they complained about the Wii? This is much worse!
Is Ash of Gods only getting a physical in Europe?
@DK-Fan there are some decent games in the group. I like to watch Budget Gamer and other YouTube channels for recommendations or throw some change at deeply discounted ones for grins.....
Not getting any games, but thinking about grabbing Byleth & Hero tonight before I head to my buddies for the weekend where there will definitely be some smash action.
