A nice splattering of Capcom titles available on Nintendo Switch have just surpassed the one million sales mark, earning a place on the company's list of 'Platinum Titles'.
If you're unaware, Capcom conveniently keeps a public list of all of its games which generate one million sales; the list has just been updated and shows that Okami HD, Mega Man 11 and Street Fighter 30th Anniversary Collection have all hit the impressive milestone.
Sadly, the list doesn't break down each game by platform, so it's impossible to know just how many of those million sales were on Switch, but it's safe to assume that Nintendo's machine will have played a significant role for each title's success. Elsewhere, Monster Hunter Generations Ultimate has also seen a small jump, putting it at 3.3 million units sold as of September this year.
If you're interested, you can go ahead and check out the full list right here; you'll notice a familiar Monster Hunter / Resident Evil / Street Fighter theme at the top of the list - and throughout the entire thing, actually.
Do you own many of these million-sellers? Let us know down below.

The problem for Street Fighter 30th Anniversary (mine is Switch version) was very quiet sound during gameplay even i have set the sound volume on Max.
Is the problem occured also on PS4 & Xbox One version ?
Okami HD: Great game!
They really do need to do something about the sound on street fighter anniversary it is really low but completely off I have the street fighter 3 games for the Dreamcast and the sound is amazing with deep bass
@m8e3point1415 Aye but this is the company that re-ports many Resident Evil games to modern systems. And it looks like other franchises like Devil May Cry (Slowly having all games ported to Switch as well as existing current gen ports) and Dead Rising (Modern ports of 1, 2 and Off the Record) will follow suit, this gen and probably next gen if they can find a way to resell them (8K Remasters anyone? XD).
Even with Okami being in past gen, it still shifted a million. The real concern would be if it did not.
Capcom should bring Dead Rising games over to Switch
I never played OKAMI HD before owning my Switch. And can't praise this beautiful game enough a 9 or 9.5 out of 10 in my book, GREAT GAME!
@Dman10 Think its only a matter of time, probably after they're done porting DMC games.
Well the street fighter 30th anniversary was, for me, a big let down. It was already bad enough that one of my favourite street fighter games (Alpha 2) did not have online support, but the whole 30th anniversary has without a doubt the absolute worst online gaming experience of all the games I have played online on switch. I have never played a game that was even nearly smooth or just ok. Every game I played online was terrible! And I have heard it's not very different for other platforms. If you only play locally and got friends around, I'd recommend it though
@Anti-Matter They're arcade ports. Capcom arcade games were known for their bad quality sound compared to other like SNK, Sega or Namco. The sound of their console ports were better. The Street Fighter 2 games on the Super Nintendo had better quality sound than their arcade version.
@dugan Had bought it a while back & decided to pick it up again a few weeks ago. Yeah, I finally see what the hype was now.
I hope we will get a new Okami in the future.
@CurryPowderKeg79 Thoroughly enjoyed it myself - it felt good watching those sequences when you inject colour back into an area...
I regret buy okami and Monster Hunter generations
Considering how Capcom treats the Switch, I would say neither of those three games sells best in our hybrid machine. I, for one, have the 30th Anniversary Collection on Switch just because I wanted to have it on the go, but the lack of SFIV as a downloadable bonus (it could have been easily ported) hurts.
Interested in Mega Man 11 and Okami HD, but on Xbox One, where I can get them easily (and cheap) in physical form, without resorting to expensive importation.
You mean Ultra Street Fighter II: The Final Challengers isn't a million seller!? Shocking. I figured the first-person hadouken mode would've put it over.
It's crazy of how nearly 13 years after Okami was first released and sold almost nothing, to now being a million seller, what a world we live in
They should make Nintendo vs Capcom for Switch.
Capcom: Huh, that game with the wolf we keep putting out has done well again... Okami sequel you say? Whatever for! No one’s playing that!
Well I contributed to those Okami HD & Megaman 11 sales; after having to deal with the “hassle” of imports and honeymoon holiday.
@mrmememan I think this just covers Omani HD; still that covers PS3, PS4, X1, Switch & PC releases so yeah still kind of a downer.
Hopefully this eventually leads them to remaster/remake Breath of Fire. Bring that back, Capcom!
Glad Mega Man 11 pulled in some numbers. I imagine a lot of those numbers were Switch considering his Nintendo roots.
Bring on 12!
Maybe Capcom could get round to finally fixing the ridiculously low volume in the SF 30th Anniversary Collection then?! Seriously it is annoying as hell.
The SF collection was a dream come true for me, all the SF games I'd want to play in a single cartridge. I'm glad it's doing well.
Capcom needs to make my other dream game come true: Capcom vs SNK Collection.
I've spent many many hours on Street Fighter Zero 3 back in the day on Sega Saturn and I loved the new characters (especially Dee Jay), musics and stages. Including the World Tour Mode that I obviously finished.
So Street Fighter 30th Anniversary, which includes only arcade releases, doesn't do justice to the lovely memories I have from my favorite episode.
I prefer Street Fighter Alpha Anthology on PS2, which features Alpha 3 Upper with all the extras (except World Tour Mode - nobody's perfect)
So.. well... I'm glad to have it on Switch to play on the go. But I'm disappointed anyway. I hope Capcom will change that in a next release.
@nab1 Oh yeah Capcom VS SNK Collection would be awesome.
And a Marvel VS Capcom collection too, WITH X-Men VS Street Fighter and Marvel VS Street Fighter included !
@Dman10 I loved the original Dead Rising, really fun game. I've owned the Wii version for years but only just played it this year for Halloween. I bloody loved it. Much more straight forward than the original and just a fun, short blast.
I feel like the game needs to be included as a bonus in the HD collection.
Dragons Dogma?
@smashboy2000 I'd love a Marvel collection as well, but due to Disney/licensing that would probably never happen, plus at least many of those games have been available at some point on recent consoles, unlike Capcom vs SNK which was only on GCN, PS2 and Dreamcast.
I have almost all Marvel Vs games I like to play in my 360, the only exception is X-Men Vs Street Fighter (I love playing against Apocalypse!) because it was never released after the PS1 era.
Man I knew Okami was good but Holy cow.
Would this be enough to warrant ports for Resident Evil 7 and R.E. 2 Remake?
Great news all around. A new Okami would be great. I also hope this means Mega Man is back, no more cancelled MM titles Capcom. 😛
I also support a Marvel Vs. Capcom collection(that includes the Marvel Super Heroes and X-Men Children of Atom fighters that Capcom made). Hopefully Disney would play nice.
Am thinking I need to give Okami another shot sometime.
@FX102A I know, but it got an award for being considered the worst selling Game of the Year contender of all time
Capcom X Platinum
Okami 2
Make it happen
Out of those three, I just have Mega Man 11 for the Switch. Congrats to the Blue Bomber! Perhaps we'll get Mega Man 12 in a year or two?
@m8e3point1415 Older remakes and a new game of a old character. 1 million is actually pretty good considering all of that.
Any word on the ace attorney trilogy sales?
@nab1 there is hope for an MVC collection, as just recently X-Men COTA and Marvel Super Heroes were officially re-released in arcade machine form. I assume that if they could license those games the rest of the MVC series wouldn't be a problem. At this point it feels like it's more of a matter of if Capcom wants to do it.
Bought Okami on the PS3, Wii and Switch. Also Ōkamiden on the DS.
Never regretted it.
That's awesome! 👏👏👏
@Moroboshi876 Where do.you live exactly? I'm just curious. Because MM11 at least is available in physical form.
@Tempestryke In Europe. There are games that get released physically in the US, but not in PAL territories sadly.
@Moroboshi876 Aww that sucks. They really ought to release them everywhere.
