Last week at Nintendo's financial results briefing, president Shuntaro Furukawa promised the company would "continue to enhance" Switch online content, to encourage more users to try out the service.
While it's taken a while to get going, it has improved in recent times with the launch of the Super Nintendo digital library. One other incentive to grab a Switch Online sub is so you can download free Super Smash Bros. Ultimate packs, containing some helpful in-game items.
The latest offer is a Vault Shopper Set – which comes with 5,000 Gold and three Classic Tickets. You can get extra music, Mii Costumes with this pack. Once again, you'll need an online sub to be able to download this for free from the Switch eShop.
So, what are you waiting for? Go and grab it!

We want Fighter #5.
(Looks at my 100% profile)
Ok
@KingBowser86
This IS fighter 5!
You get to chuck coins at your opponents and paper cut them with classic tickets
@KingBowser86 Fighter 5 is likely coming out next year, as all 5 were scheduled to be out by February 2020.
@ShadJV Oh, no question given the 2-month separation windows. The real question is, are we going to find out 1 fighter in a normal Nintendo Direct, or are we about to get MonHun/Geno/Shantae in a "Dismiss Spirits" video at the VGA?
@KingBowser86 hard to say. I would’ve thought a Direct but given Joker’s announcement, anything is possible.
My switch online ran out today
Luckily, Im only playing offline fames at the moment
Good to know. Haven't played Smash in a while, but free stuff is free stuff.
It seems a bit sad to lock this kind of stuff away for subscribers, really. I mean, I am a subscriber, so I don’t personally miss out on anything, but I’d prefer to see a policy of online-oriented stuff reserved for NSO subscribers and single player stuff available for anyone who plays single player, subscriber or otherwise.
This seems to be mainly single-player content reserved for people who have subscribed to the online service, which muddies the waters a bit.
Awesome, I haven't been able to beat Donkey Kong and Lady on spirit board so this will be helpful in getting closer to it. No one I know really wants to play it like they do MK8DX, so I have had like 0 gold for ages. Does anyone know how many music tracks there are exactly, btw? I haven't seen an exact number anywhere.
Would be awesome if they bring fighter 5 this christmas would be a Smash hit.
I hope terry will be available after the direct.
@KingBowser86 Too much downvotes. I'm also not interested in Terry, but very much looking forward to Fighter #5
@Jayofmaya
"Does anyone know how many music tracks there are exactly, btw?"
Should be 876 tracks in the base game, but I'm not sure how many of those are from challenges/World of Light. Plus 30 DLC tracks.
I'm confused. Is it tickets and coins to Mii costumes and music from the shop or Tickets and coins to but new music and Mii costumes?
@Manah Thanks! Currently on 786, they just keep popping up in the shop and taking spaces so wanted to know how many more to clear the way for the shop exclusive spirits and 2 that I can't win on the spirit board. Also still 14 mii costume bits to buy, haven't been playing in a few months so want to try for 100%.
@martynstuff Coins buy anything in the vault shop and tickets are only used for Classic Mode continues. I wouldn't purchase much in the shop until you finish collecting what you can from World of Light, Summoned all spirits on the summon list, completed Classic Mode with all fighters and also got all spirits from Spirit Board, though. Then you'll only see either dlc spirits which you can get easy if you purchase the dlc OR exclusive things like mii gear, spirits and finally music tracks. You'll also have a ton of gold from doing that to buy up lots of it, then just play online or smash with friends to collect the rest of the money needed.
@Maxz “Locked”? It’s coins and tickets that can be obtained through natural play.
@Jayofmaya Thanks. I probably misread it as you could buy brand new music and costumes
@HobbitGamer Ooh... I was under the impression that the extra music tracks and Mii Costumes mentioned were only available to NSO subscribers, but if not then “locked” definitely isn’t the right word.
@MaxlRoseGNR I don't mind hearing about Terry and like this format, but also think it'd just be respectful of people's time to cover Fighter 5.
Wait, new music? like legit new tracks or just what's already in the game because I just finished unlocking all of the tracks.
@Maxz Gotchya. Nope, just free coins and tickets. Similar to when they gave spirit points and board items previously.
Iv downloaded it but don't see anything lol?
Shantae needs an amiibo, and to be in Smash.
@HobbitGamer Thanks for correcting me on this! Looks like I got the wrong end of the stick.
@driftydrift
Didnt you get the 5000coins etc?
And the shop will appear new mii outfits hair styles etc. Also in classic mode you can unlock them now (i think)
