If you're looking to get your hands on a shiny new Nintendo Switch Lite, perhaps as a Christmas gift or just a little present to yourself, Black Friday is set to be a good time to do just that.
Amazon UK is currently offering the console at a reduced price, with all of the three launch models now available for £179.00. That means you can snap up the Yellow, Turquoise and Grey models for £20 off the recommended retail price just a couple of months after launch (all of which can be found at the following link).

Another nice deal for Pokémon fans can be found below, with Amazon UK also offering a Zacian and Zamazenta Pokémon Edition Switch Lite console with your choice of Pokémon Sword or Shield for just £219, meaning you're effectively getting a copy of the new game for £20.
Are you hoping to grab any of these deals? If these don't quite do it for you, there's plenty more where these came from.

Nope. You ain't phat shaming me, I'm sticking to the original. The one that actually, y'know, switches.
Somehow I am not too surprised to see the new Pokemon edition Lite not selling very well. It's got a polarizing look with it's split colored controls.
365games has the standard Switch Lites for cheaper, £182.99. Offer ends in 37 hours.

You'll also earn £4.58 in player points which can be redeemed in a future purchase. That can be used for £2.50 off a £25 purchase, or £5.00 off a £50 purchase if you earn a bit more. They usually have an post-purchase offer to earn £1 worth of player points by leaving a review on their Trustpilot or Facebook page or something.
i want that sticker set...look so cute. But thats not some great deal for Black Friday. Better than nothing though
I am fairly sure that ASDA Living are selling switch lites for £169.99 at the moment, although one of the colours was out of stock at the store I was at. It may have also been an instore offer only, but I will double check and edit this comment as appropriate.
Edit: It appears to be instore only, but as far as I know, it does not appear to be mentioned in NL's other Black Friday articles.
I still find it odd to call it a Switch Lite when the thing doesn’t Switch at all! Should have called it the Cannot Switch
lol at people who moan about a switch lite, it's not like the normal model is no longer available! horses for courses people
@Lordplops What a relief!!! I barely got any sleep last night from worrying that you had been duped into buying something that you didn't want. Better luck next time, NAUGHTY NINTENDO!! May they never get away with the heinous crime of offering different models of their consoles again!
If you are one of the people that got the Nintendo "magazine" free with various other magazines or from The Hut (if you've ever bought from them or the official Nintendo Store before), then there's a code on the back that'll get you a Lite from Nintendo's store for £179. Or 10% off anything else.
@jarvismp It switches both on and off.
Let's be honest £10 off is £10 off and I guess there will be other sales when it has £10 off again.
But this is NOT a BLACK FRIDAY DEAL. It is cashing in on black Friday.
£30 off would be at least something that would just about qualify to be called a black friday deal.
@personauser93 last time I bought something I didn't want was in Bangkok. Never again bro, never again...
I had no idea you guys did Black Friday over there?
@Tempestryke
For some reason Black Friday sales pick up internationally, probably because US corporations wanted to push them further.
A lot of Black Friday deals aren't genuine anyway, people get swept up in the excitement and what you're actually buying might be a subpar product or last year's model being cleared out.
That magical time of year where something that's usually hard to sell becomes an easy sell.
@RupeeClock Ah I see. I just kinda thought other countries wouldn't wanna encourage or pick it up because frankly, they aren't exaggerating about how horrible people can act from what I hear.
@Gwynbleidd Yeah I am sure some people love it but I am just saying, it's definitely not for everyone. I agree that the decals on the back are the biggest turnoff though. I do like the light gray color of this, it's a shame the gray wasn't in this shade.
This was always the plan. Launch at £199 which was quite high but gave Retailers lots of room for discounting. Microsoft have done similar with the Digital-only XB1S which can currently be had for £119 with a couple of games.
