Last month, Snipperclips developer SFB Games announced Tangle Tower for the Switch. The game's already out on Apple Arcade and you can play through it, thanks to the free trial, but unfortunately, Nintendo owners are going to have to wait just a little longer.
This thrilling murder-mystery adventure game, linked to the Detective Grimoire franchise, has been delayed on Switch and Steam due to "unavoidable" reasons not specified in the press release. The game was due out next week on 10th October and now anyone who has been looking forward to it will have to hold out until 22nd October.
If you enjoy interrogating suspects and solving unique puzzles, this might be the game for you. Here's some more information about the story itself, which takes place in a "strange and twisted" mansion, along with a trailer (see above):
Freya Fellow has been murdered. The lead suspect? A shadowy figure found looming over her body, wielding a knife. The problem? That suspect… is just a painting.
As noted in our original post, Tangle Tower also features a fully voiced and animated cast of characters, an original orchestral soundtrack and beautiful digitally painted environments to explore.

Honestly I'd already forgotten that it was releasing anyway. It looks really cool so I'm definitely interested in it, but I also have about a million games to play right now so I'm really in no rush.
Indie Layton indeed.
I saw a guy playing this on his iPhone in the plane few days ago and I really wanted to know what game it was. Design looks fantastic, can't wait to play it !
I'd love a snipplerclips 2, a snipplerclips maker game or anything snipplerclips related. Sorry for all the 'snipperclips,' I've just recently completed snipplerclips.
I don't get to use this word often, but Tangle Tower looks absolutely adorkable!
The apple arcade have such good games but I have a Samsung sooooooooo ill just have to wait
@luke88 Honestly by the end of SnipperClips, my wife and I had had enough. We usually fare well with puzzly co-op games (Portal 2 was our favorite one to play together), but the final world of SnipperClips just drove us crazy.
Solving a level no longer felt good, we would just be relieved that it was over.
