To promote the arrival of Toy Story 4 in cinemas, Disney has teamed up with Mojang to release a special Toy Story themed mash-up pack in Minecraft. Here are the details from the Minecraft blog:
Woody, Bo Peep, Buzz Lightyear, and some of the other charismatic characters you know and love have taken a detour to the world of Minecraft! All-new characters from Disney and Pixar’s Toy Story 4, Duke Caboom and Ducky & Bunny are also joining the adventure!
In addition to playing as all of these characters, you'll be able to explore Andy's bedroom, Sid's bedroom and various other Toy Story-themed locations:
Explore some of the places you love (Andy’s bedroom!) and maybe are a little afraid of (I still have nightmares about Sid’s bedroom), from the teeny perspective of the toys. Yes, you are indeed tiny, which means you’ll have to climb, jump, and solve puzzles to find your way through an enormous, yet familiar world!
Is this a mash-up pack you'll be purchasing for Minecraft? Leave a comment below.

That's a pretty decent looking Buzz and woody. Not enough to make me buy this though, haha.
Microsoft robbing Steve Job's grave.
I wish there was an actual Toy Story 4 video game. The previous ones were rather good...
They’re weirdly hi res
that....is just....creepy
@Rafke
Toy Story was Pixar's first feature film back when the studio was wholly owned by Jobs. He paid for everything leading up to the Disney co-production deal, and guided the studio's strategy for nearly twenty years before selling the whole thing to Disney in 2006.
He even stayed with them after that, and leading up to his death in 2011, Pixar employees were some of the first to know about Job's condition and well-being.
@Pod He was even still part of Pixar when it was acquired by Disney and now Disney is working together with the creators of Minecraft, yet somehow Microsoft is robbing Steve Jobs grave? I think you're giving him too much credit as well, since other people actually made/wrote the movie(s).
I know it's not meant to be serious, but I don't see what's the point of posting it either.
Very cute, and for some reason for me it fits extra perfect with the Mario mash-up pack.
Now maybe if the game goes on sale again
Despite the rivalry, I’m sure Jobs would have appreciated this collaboration.
@Monkeido
The joke WAS the point.
I am a big fan of both Jobs, Pixar, Disney, and Bill Gates, the latter of who does not actually call the shots at Microsoft anymore, of course, and never had it in for Jobs to begin with, contrary to popular myth.
I almost want to get this tbh.
My 10 year old self is having a meltdown of joy right now. Then I have to remind her that I don’t like/understand Minecraft. I think I just made her cry.
I had a nightmare last night that Woody was life-sized and trying to kill me. It was like one of those crappy horror games made by some 12 year old using the Unity engine. I blame MatPat for his thumbnail for a recent Film Theory.
I definitely want this
@Vectorman Exactly, they are just crummy blocks but for a blco kfoghee, looks pretty decent.
@Vectorman S'all good!
@Vectorman
I seem to have left that in there since I originally wanted to just write Jobs and Gates.
