Part of me wants to pick up Phoenix Wright, but I’ve got way too many games to play right now.
Vote pretty much says it all.
Dragonball, Ace Attorney (already own physical version imported), Hob and Mechstermination Force.
But today... is Darksiders day. Called into work and I’m gaming out on some Darksiders from morning till night
I’d be all over Ace Attorney but I think I got it for like $5 or $10 for 3DS on sale. So I see no reason to pay for it again even if I can play it on the TV.
Maybe I’ll get it on a sale for Switch.
Mechstermination Force and Hob! Can’t wait!
Nothing for me. I already own Ace Attorney games on the NDS.
maybe phoenix wright trilogy.
Mechstermination Force for sure. Probably Hob too at a later date once I'm done playing through Yooka Laylee.
Hob: because of panic button
@JaxonH It is such a great game. I cant wait to get it again but I am trying to work on my backlog. Darksiders, that is.
Super Dragon Ball Heroes: World Mission all the way - do you know how long I've waited for one of these to make it outside of Japan? Too long, I tell you!
phoenix wright trilogy and it is not mentioned here donkey kong 3
Picross e9 when?
Getting DK3. Why don't some games get listed even though they get announced in their own article?
May regret it, but I'll probably get Smashing the Battle sometime as a quilty pleasure type purchase.
Definitely getting Mechstermination Force. It will be my training for Cuphead.
Sephirotic Stories?
Sounds more like a raunchy FFVII fanfic.
I need to try the Ace Attorney Trilogy at some point. I've heard great things but just never have played those games.
@JaxonH Bought Darksiders out of boredom and was surprised to LOVE IT. It's prob a 7.5 or 7.9 but in the way that is good (like some 7s are disappointments and others are great surprises). Can't wait to take my lunch break and play it in my car some more. Been playing in the higher graphics mode (not performance) and haven't encountered any issues. Looks visually really great, much better than expected.
Finally made a Japanese account so I can try that World Mission demo. I could see really getting into it or never playing it.
@Dang69
Ya, it's great. I'm confident we'll see Darksiders 2 land on Switch later this year. Which... oh man... that would be just swell
@zionich
It really is. And this is a solid version. No screen tearing, no bugs, stable framerate, full 1080p/720p docked/handheld with optional 60fps mode... and the first ever handheld version of Darksiders. It looks incredible on the Switch screen.
Makes me want other 7th gen AAA games like Assassin's Creed 3, Dragon's Dogma and Saint's Row even more just knowing how good they look and run on Switch.
@thesilverbrick
Wait it up, you'll get it for cheaper at some point !
My wish list is getting ridiculous. I'd buy Phoenix Wright, but I have way too much to play as it is. To the wish list it goes.
If anyone plays Overwhelm, tell me how it is.
Arcade Archives Armed F — Forever enamoured by shooters, I like the look of this one, but I won't even bother backlogging. I'd play it for sure though.
Mechstermination Force — One word: Horberg. Backlog for now, I'll check the review and backlog it for probably a sale.
Switch 'N' Shoot — Like Downwell, the minimalist style and cheap price entices me to add this to my library as a great time waster. I like the simple but hard premise, so I'll backlog it.
The friends of Ringo Ishikawa — As a Kunio fan, this seems to take heavy inspiration from Kunio-Kun while adding life sim, and maybe shades of Shenmue and Yakuza, but don't quote me on the last two. If this reviews decent, I will consider this essential to my library.
Out There: Ω The Alliance — I like the theme as a space nut, but not sure if the game is for me. I'll do more homework on it.
I've got a physical copy of Phoenix Wright coming in from Japan. I promised myself I wouldn't double dip, as I already have the 3DS version, unless there was a physical copy available. Going to be so weird playing Phoenix Wright on my TV.
@BensonUii Curious, are you able to collect gold coins off of it onto a NA account?
@technotreegrass No but you can collect gold coins off of it for a Japanese account.
@Tibob I imagine so. Capcom is usually pretty good about sales. Either that, or I’d love a physical version!
@BensonUii Darn. Thanks for telling me.
@Aurumonado Alright, I'll make a Japanese account and see if I can find any game I can play without knowing the language.
Oh man! I’m so excited! I can’t believe we get another Kemco game! It’s been so long!!!!
/s
Ace Attorney has one of the best stories of any video game series I've ever played. Highly recommended to anyone who hasn't given it a shot before.
Not gonna lie, Phoenix Wright is really tempting me as I've never played one before. However, I need to power my way through Final Fantasy VII before X/X-2 HD hits later this month. Then I still have to finish Dark Souls and Wargroove and the new releases aren't showing any signs of slowing down...
@RR529 I grabbed it earlier, essentially waifu Implosion.
Perhaps it's time these Ace Attorney ports started using the old GBA sprites— optionally of course.
Wow, I think is the worst game week of the year 🤦🏻♀️
@Morpheel And ineed that sounds alot more interesting than another tepid, trite Kemco RPG.
Long live Phoenix Wright!
I want Mechstermination Force, but I'm broke and VR is around the corner. I just went into small debt picking up a PSVR set and Skyrim in VR is amazing. With news of Zelda coming to VR... My god. Also hoping this means Skyrim VR might be available down the line for Switch owners as well.
To the poll though, I did pre order Dragon Ball. That should arrive in the mail today. Still playing Super Robot Wars T though, so its competing for cart privileges lol
Will phoenix write get a physical realease? I don't want to buy it twice, and I love having all the little boxes 😂
Not listed, but I did get Feather. Fun flying game.
