2020 feels like it's ages away, and Q4 2020 feels even further away, but Little Legend is hoping to plonk its name down for that specific release window on Switch. It just needs a little help to get there.
The game is a 2D adventure title taking place in a "dream-like open world" setting. You play as Pimpim, a young girl with supernatural powers, who sets off to explore the world, crafting your own magical abilities to explore the world and discovering the secrets behind the rebuilding of the universe along the way. It may well be a fair way away from completion, but some of the art is already looking exceedingly beautiful.
Little Legend Key Feature List:
⦁ Create your own magic abilities & companions
⦁ Explore a 2D dreamlike open world
⦁ Fight in fast-paced action
⦁ Discover a character-driven story with relevant narrative choices
⦁ Craft and sell items in your own shop
⦁ Fly and talk with creatures as a magic weasel
The development team - an indie dev from France called Nevermind - has started a Kickstarter campaign to "strengthen the production and enhance the sprite and animation quality" of the game. A stretch goal of $35,000 has been set to get the game on Switch (it's already made around $24,000 in just a week) and it has 23 days still left to go. You can check out the Kickstarter page for lots more info - and to pledge your support - right here.

I know it's only next year but 2020 still feels like it's forever away.
The visuals look nice enough, but it just seems to me that that's all they focused on. The gameplay doesn't look appealing at all, unfortunately. Hopefully this is just an early look and it'll get much more fluid in the actual game.
This looks like a must get. Day one for me.
Not very impressed with gameplay, looks a bit slow and clunky, true they are still making it, but doesn't look like my type of game, so think I'll pass
Pimpim is a terrible name for a main character. Why not just Pim?
it looks interesting but I never back kickstarter anymore for video games after various no shows. it does look interesting though and I'd probably pick it up if it launches on switch
@BenAV This is another kickscammer project. It will be delayed by at least 2 years if it is ever released.
That game looks slow and boring, the graphics are ok+ and the animation in creepy. Also: kickscammer (that says it all).
@ThatNyteDaez Thank you for your feedback!
Indeed, one of the main goals of our Kickstarter campaign is to get funds to keep improving the overall quality of the game, and of course, the visual part will be our main focus!
@Bunkerneath
The quality should improve over time, that's why we have this Kickstarter running!
@lemonjellydude
Every support helps, Thanks
@Rhaoulos
Sorry if you have been deceive in the past by Kickstarter, we will do our best though!
2D Captain Marvel platformer
You had me at "Fly and talk with creatures as a magic weasel". We need more weasel based flying games!!!!
@ThatNyteDaez well it is almost 2 years away still, if it looks like this now I can't say I'm not interested in it.
@BenAV
I know! With so many great games to look forward to, this year will go by really slow.... Haha
@Sciqueen
Pim sounds very Thai people.
There was an Asia's Next Top Model cycle 6 contestant named by Pim Bubear from Thailand. 😆
It's very colorful and I like the art, but the animation and gameplay look a little stiff and clunky. It's a ways off though, so there's time to work on that. I'll keep it on my radar.
@ThatNyteDaez , @klingki Actually it kind of reminds of the way Trine plays. I think there's potential for some fun and creative ways to solve puzzles / overcome obstacles / defeat enemies. I think I'll watch this one. Here's hoping
@Sciqueen cause you know... French? XD
The visuals I'm feeling. Not solid on everything else, but it seems ok. I have yet to back anything...
Looks good so far!
Problem is they would make a steam option but the Switch Physical is Digital only.
Here's what they said:
I support other kickstarter and they have a physical option so this doesn't quite add up.
This has still a lot of work to do (especially the animation) that's why its so far off.
