I'm broke till FE comes out but I'm packing my wishlist!
Man, there are always so many games each week. Couple of nice retro games with Athena and Metal Slug 5 so I'll grab them for sure, and then probably Viviette.
Kemco, the Kings of mundane-clone-Rpgs. Thanks for another lifeless and overpriced release!
lots of nope here. Way too much shovelware.
...Not like I really need more to play anyway
I really wish Nintendo would fix their pricing on games when compared to everyone else. I can get Yooka-Laylee for $32Cdn on the Eshop right now. Oh ya know..get it for $16 on Xbox or PlayStation. That counts for virtually every game. Its digital, it should be the same price across the board. Nintendo know that they are usually a second or third system for the majority of gamers but the pricing always means i buy my games on other systems.
Viviette maybe, Donut County definitely.
Uhh, anybody else think that Leopoldo Manquiseil looks like a budget Celeste? I had similar thoughts a few weeks ago about Sigi totally having some Shovel Knight textures. Shady stuff.
Why bother with ACA Athena when the arcade and home versions are on snk collection?
I'm still waiting on Downwell.
I don't know why, but any time I see a game announcement with the title of Nightshade, I get my hopes up that it could be a remake of the underrated NES gem of the same name! That, Faxanadu, and Clash at Demonhead are three titles that are screaming for remakes/rereleases!
@BanjoPickles Never played (or heard of) Clash at Demonhead, but I love Faxanadu.
Viviette, Battle Princess and Aaero for me.
on the eshop Clue has a season pass. Was there such a demand for Clue DLC that they made a season pass for it?
Donut county, Princess Madelyn, Rain World look interesting. Everything else looks terrible.
@rdrunner1178 if you love retro games pick up the SNK 40th Anniversary Collection. It has Athena arcade and console versions to boot.
Metal Slug 5 has been out, this week is supposed to be Puzzle Bobble for the Hamster titles.
Nothing for me this week
I'm always up for pushing some pipe.
Thank god nothing for me today. I’ll never catch up to my current backlog.
@BanjoPickles Never played That, but I sure loved Faxanadu and Clash at Demon head. If those 2 came to the NES switch online it'd make me consider picking it up lol.
@BanjoPickles if Faxanadu shows up on Nintendo online, that’s when I’ll subscribe. That game is phenomenal!!
@Alto
It's such an underrated gem of a game! Honestly, I'll take Faxanadu over Zelda II any day of the week! It deserves to be better known than it is! The music alone makes it amazing!
@dougphisig
Nightshade was an interesting hybrid of Point and Click and action. You play an aspiring superhero who has to go around the city and do good deeds for people (rescuing them from burning buildings, rescuing a cat from a tree, save an elderly woman from a mugger, etc.) to boost your popularity. For it's time, it had a really good sense of humor, and I always thought it was an incredibly fun game. Hard, but fun!
@BanjoPickles If they remade Clash, they better throw in a Scott Pilgrim reference
@Pichuka97
That would be epic!
@Illusion
You're right! I had forgotten about the SNK Collection. Reinforces what I said about so many games every week. There are some that get lost in the shuffle that I am interested in that I forget about.
Nothing of interest to me.
@dougphisig
We can wish! I would love to revisit Clash at Demonhead again. I think I have Faxanadu on Wii VC? So maybe we'll get that one eventually.
Already bought the donut one and I considered getting that new Nippon game from PQube but I need some feedback from the kids first.
@rdrunner1178 yeah I played a little bit of Fanadu again on Wii VC too. It's too bad Clash at Demonhead never hit VC, though it might be a licensing issue since it looks like Tokai that made that game no longer does video games.
Is that price for Clue accurate? $30? Are you re-enacting the movie for that amount or am I missing something that makes a really old board game port worth $30?
Getting arcade archives dk jr. even though it wasn't listed.
Pinball FX3 Williams Volume 2 is also finally out this week...
Why is it that every week it lists the wrong ACA titles. I believe this week is Puzzle Bobble (Neo Geo) and Donkey Kong Jr.
That lists sounds like the Google Play Store -_- too much shovelware
Will have to throw Donut County on the wishlist!
Donut County for sure! I don’t even know much about it but any game where you play as a reccoon is fine by me.
I picked up Firewatch last night, and am gonna pick up Katamari this weekend. Physical copy.
@paschott Is that price for Clue accurate? $30?
It's the mobile version that costs $3.99 on the app store. I am assuming it comes with some of the DLC for the extra $26.
I have bought tons of cheap $1 games on the Switch, but in all honesty, Super Smash Bros. was the last game I truly desired. Dynasty Warriors 8 looks nice, but most of the future game releases look like shovelware.
Arcade Archives Donkey Kong Jr came out today!
I bought it for $8 it's much better than the NES port
