If you live in the UK, or don't mind a pretty costly flight to get here, you may well be attending EGX 2018 this week. Taking place in Birmingham, EGX is the UK's largest gaming event and the fun and activities come around at this time every year. Now, Nintendo has revealed its full lineup of playable games at the event - and it's a pretty impressive list!
Of course, we'd already heard about some of the Switch's top, upcoming games being at the event - such as the latest titles in the Pokémon and Super Smash Bros. series - but this list is sure to have something for everyone. Check it out below.

Tickets for the show have almost sold out, but a very limited amount of Super Pass tickets (giving you entry to all four days) are still available. Members of the Nintendo Life team will be present across a number of days, so we hope to see you there!

Oddworld Strangers Wrath. One of my top 10 games of all-time. Give me a release date, a way to pre-order it and the chance to have a physical version released down the line. Now all I need is a MvC Compilation game and Fire Pro Wrestling on Switch and I'm good for the next decade or so.

UGH, was all set to order my press pass but I have a family wedding that weekend.
D'aww look at that little 3DS list. it's so cute!
Anyway I'm becoming more and more hyped for Smash Ultimate. I initially dismissed it as a simple repackage like 70% of the other Switch games, but it's actually shaping up really well.
@StephanDLW It's to sell the console itself, show a bunch of "upcomings" as well as a bunch of "currently availables". Standard practice.
Maybe someone never played a Nintendo console and his attention is caught by Splatoon 2? They may impulse-buy the console with the game as soon as they get to a store.

Weird that Nintendo's focusing on already released games this time rather than including upcoming 2019 games like NSMBU Deluxe, Yoshi's Crafted World and Fire Emblem Three Houses.
it's great they actually bring playable versions of doom and wolfenstein. There are still people that don't know these games exist on the switch. Plus recently i showed gameplay of wolf 2 in handheld to a friend and he was amazed.
Is EGX worth going to? I live nearby and this list is tempting me lol
I saw Wargroove in there. Hoping to see more about it, since it's the closest thing to Advance Wars I'll be getting for a long time.
Speaking of Advance Wars, I would be happy to see the original on the NES service, at some point.
