@Hero_of_Time If you have a Vita, or PS3, I recommend Persona 3 and 4 highly, you will not regret it.

Same here, I am new to both these games. But you hear about Persona so often that it's hard not to want to delve in and find out why it's such a hit.
if you want to try something of the same vain and not pick up a new system pick up SMT IV (Shin Megami Tensai IV) for the 3ds. SMT is the parent franchise to the Persona series and will give you a decent taste of the combat style and game mechanics.
I'd definitely want to get this, but there's already so many games I want coming out...maybe I'll end up getting this.
