European gaming trade fair Gamescom is rapidly approaching and Nintendo has now detailed its plans for the event. Luckily, both attendees and homestayers will have plenty to see.
Visitors to Nintendo's booth will be the first to go hands-on with Super Mario Party, getting to try out some of its brand new minigames, and will also be able to play a whole host of top upcoming Nintendo titles. The full list includes:
- Super Smash Bros. Ultimate
- FIFA 19
- Dark Souls: Remastered
- Travis Strikes Again: No More Heroes
- Dragon Ball FighterZ
- Starlink: Battle for Atlas
- Killer Queen Black
Those who can't make it to Cologne, Germany for the event (tickets are available from the official site) will still be able to get in on the action by keeping an eye on Nintendo's YouTube channel. Fans will be able to get a deeper look at a selection of already-announced upcoming games including Super Mario Party, Xenoblade Chronicles 2: Torna - The Golden Country, and DAEMON X MACHINA.
Gamescom is scheduled to take place from 21st to 25th August, promising to be a whole lot of fun for everyone involved. Will you be attending? Will you be watching the events from home? Let us know below.

Now very tempted to get tickets to this event. Thanks a lot, Ryan!
I'd like a Direct and soon because on the entire list there is nothing that talks to me... :/
Super Smash Bros. Ultimate
FIFA 19
Dark Souls: Remastered
Travis Strikes Again: No More Heroes
Dragon Ball FighterZ
Starlink: Battle for Atlas
Killer Queen Black
GAMESCOM DIRECT!
And don't just show Smash, like you did at E3, that is why your stock has dropped.
Show different games, please!
Cool, interesting Nintendo is doing non-direct live streams at GC but I wonder why its not called Treehouse.
There have been a bunch of announcements recently, so I don't expect a real direct till late Aug/early Sep that will probably be mostly about the subscription.
I need to know more about Kirbys nose in smash
@1UP_MARIO This!
The next time I want to hear and see something about Ultimate is when I throw this sucker day one in my cartridge slot...
Where are our smashbros treats?characters? New stages? Or at least confirm storymode please!
build up the hype train Nintendo!
@The-Chosen-one If you want to know what's in the new Smash, see the previous four(/five) entries. There's your answer!
Hopefully this means Dark Souls will be released in coming months along with online service
I wonder if it smells extraordinarily pleasant in Cologne. Hopefully we get to find out some information about Smash. They haven’t said a single thing about it.
I'm still a little confused about the difference between old link and new link
If Nintendo could just go over that one more time...
If we get a release date for DSR, that would be great. Summer won’t stay here forever.
I heard SOEDESCO also will be at Gamescom.
Please tell me if they want to announce Earthlock (Switch) in Physical media.
Looking forward to seeing fifa 19 and what improvements have been made. That's probably my next big purchase.
@HobbitGamer
Lol !
Funny fact, Kölnischwasser (Cologne) was invented by an Italian.
I think I read on Reddit that Rockfish might have some more info on Everspace at Gamescom. I'm really looking forward to that game.
Still need a direct to know what I'm buying with my online account purchase at some point...
@abe_hikura Nintendo Treehouse is a division of Nintendo of America and because they are the ones hosting the livestreams at E3 it's called "Treehouse @ E3".
Gamescom on the other hand is a German expo and thus, Nintendo of Europe is the one managing Nintendo's booth and livestream presentations. It wouldn't make sense for them to call it Treehouse.
i'm watching from home, looking forward to starlink and daemon x machina
@Tsurii Wouldn't call it a s***fest but... yeah, I wanted more.
