Back in March, we were treated to Subsurface Circular, a narrative-driven story from British developer Bithell Games. Well, it turns out Mike Bithell and co have already produced a second 'short' in the form of Quarantine Circular, another story-focused experience that's just launched on PC.
Of course, with any release comes the classic question. "But is it coming to Switch, though?" and Bithell has already been inundated with that very same query in regards to his latest offering. The man himself is open to the idea, but he's waiting to see how well it performs on PC before deciding if it's a viable option for his studio.

Seeing how we've read so many reports of games selling better day 1 on Switch compared to months on PC, the logic that it needs to sell well on PC before having a chance at coming to Switch seems off.
+1 for Switch right here, Mr. Bithell.
That, er... makes no sense. Lots of indie games are doing well on Switch, but poorly on PC at the moment. Particularly thanks to Valve and their disorganized storefront.
This seems like a ploy to manipulate Switch owners into increasing PC version sales by holding their preferred version hostage, and I don't appreciate it one bit.
I don’t support most indies in pc. I want to play games in the go and switch is the best option for me.
I also have pretty much moved back to Nintendo as my main system and pc/PS4 only for the occasional AAA game. My switch goes with me daily to work for gaming on lunch break, but my PS4 sits at home being used for kids dvds.
@Donutman Same. Which is almost a shame, as it's SO easy to get indies on the cheap for PC. But I like the flexibility of the Switch.
Subsurface Circular was one of my biggest surprises of the year. I hope this new one does indeed come to Switch.
Play Subsurface Circular, y’all. $6!
Good luck on that, Steam is a daily mound of garbage heaped onto the ONE gem that releases each week.
Ahhh jeez, I hope this comes to Switch. You PC gamers had better do your job.
Loved Subsurface so I'll be buying this on Steam this weekend probably. I'd prefer to play it on Switch ideally (HD rumble was pretty good in Subsurface) but it's such a short game I may as well just buy it on PC rather than wait months for a potential Switch version.
Sounds like someone who is marketing/blackmailing people into double dipping. No thanks.
So... basically about a year after everyone has already played it? Or if nobody plays it, never? Makes sense.
Uhmm robot alien niples
After researching about game development and the costs of tools to release on consoles (licensing, additional software, rating board fees, dev kit, etc), i'm not surprised anymore when small developers do not release their games simultaneously on two or more platforms.
It can cost quite a bit for a $6 game that barely sells a thousand of copies.
At first I thought it said Bill Mitchell lol, I was like that Donkey Kong guy who was caught cheating actually made a game? Lol.
Next time please include the trailer so you save us googling around!
@Syntaxkita Owlboy came out nearly a year after the Switch was on the market and had amazing sales right away. That's just an off the top of my head example. There are plenty of stories about games outside the first 6 month launch window that have thrived right away on Switch.
