We've seen a number of quality titles from the Wii U eShop make their way onto the Switch, and another to put on the wishlist is Teslagrad by Rain Games. It featured a while ago at the Tokyo Game Show ahead of its Japanese release, and now the North American Switch eShop has confirmed a Western release date.
It's listed for North America on 7th December, with a price of $19.99USD; it was a game we admired on the Wii U, so the chance to play it on the Switch will be tough to resist.
Are you planning to pick this up on the Nintendo Switch?

Oh hey, Rain Games! These guys are pretty cool.
$5 more than the Wii U version which was 3 years ago. Come on!!! Be reasonable!
It's out November 16th in the Japanese eShop (with English). I'm tempted.
Hey Thomas, it's Teslagrad, not Telsagrad.
Looks interesting. Will wait for a price drop though.
@Bunkerneath
good news, it's actually priced $14.99!
there was a mixup with the pricing during submission, but we're fixing it before release.
@Pod thanks:D
Like a massive amount of the software on Switch I already own Teslagrad both physically and digitally on Wii U.
I was really looking forward to it on Wii U and bought it day one but only played the first 30 minutes of it. I don't remember why I didn't play more. I might pick it up on Switch if a discount arrives before I get back to the Wii U version.
I have this on the Wii U but simply never found the time to play it. I might double dip so that I can play on the train... but my backlog is very long.
@SLIGEACH_EIRE A majority? Where did you pull that number from? Actually don't tell me, I already know.
I love this game. I highly recommend everyone pick it up if you don't have it. And make sure to get 100% so you get to enjoy all the most clever puzzles and secrets the game has to offer.
@SLIGEACH_EIRE I don’t think by any means, ‘The majority’ of over 200 pieces of software available on switch is available on Wii U. You are welcome to count though. And once you’ve counted those, could you also kindly advise us just how many of these titles I can play portably (not including the short distance the wii u spans, that doesn’t even reach the toilet in my one bedroom flat). Hopefully that will provide a bit of balance to you comment which I suspect will read ‘Like the MINORITY of software on switch, I already own it both physically and digitally and physically on the Wii U. The fact that is portable is a bonus for gamers other than myself, who struggle to get in gaming time on the big TV, or even at home as they spend a lot of time commuting or working away from home. And kudos to the developers for making these games available to the MAJORITY of people who did not buy a Wii U’. Hopefully I’ve saved you the effort, and you can copy and paste a more balanced comment for a change.
@Wraggadam1 Couldn't give a fiddler's f about portability.
Oh hey, another game I've heard good things about, am willing to purchase it day one and won't ever touch due to being overwhelmed by ... let's see ... December was it? I already blame Xenoblade 2.
@SLIGEACH_EIRE Is it because you never leave home? Go out man, breathe some fresh air, and reflect on why you behave like a five year old. It might do you some good.
I have this on wiiU and played and put in a good amount of time into it. Never finished though but this is a fantastic game. I wish there was some sorta discount for already owning this game on wiiU. I would be more convinced to double dip.
@SLIGEACH_EIRE Exactly my point, and it’s there in the statement, YOU couldn’t, but many people, including myself, own the console precisely because of the portability. I’m afraid without it, the switch would have just become a Wii U 2, excellent games, but low install base, and lack of developer support.
Looking forward to playing this eventually. I never got around to the Wii U version.
I never got to finish it on Wii U so I'll def be getting this. Unless they announce a physical release. I'd rather have that of course.
I have this on Wii U and started playing it but couldn't get into it at all after a couple of hours. Not sure why. It looks like it should appeal to me (puzzle platformer), but I just didn't get on with the magnetic mechanic and got lost as many of the passages looked the same. I love Metroid so that aspect shouldn't be an issue, but it was. Maybe I'll try again when I have time off over Xmas.
