Scrolling through the 'Coming Soon' section of the Switch's eShop can become a rather fun pastime - especially with the amount of games that are bombarding the system at the moment. One such game that has recently appeared in this menu of future delights is Zombie Gold Rush.
The game sees you jumping into various cars and shooting down waves of zombies, collecting a whole lot of cash in the process. Screenshots of the game suggest that you will be able to upgrade your vehicles in a garage, spending the gold you earn to do just that, and it would also appear that leaderboards will be present to showcase your highest scores.
You can feast your eyes on some of these screenshots below.
The game is currently priced at $4.99 USD / £4.49 and is set to release on October 26th. Hopefully this can provide a smaller dose of fun to sink your teeth into should you want a break from our favourite plumber's new adventure releasing the day after.

Think I'll pass.
Sure
Hmmm, looks a bit shovel-ware-y. Still, simple little games like this can sometimes have very enjoyable mechanics, it's just hard to judge from a screenshot. At £4.49, it wouldn't be too hard for it to get above the 'worth it' line.
Grab your wepons! [sic]
Take car, go to Mum's, kill Phil, grab Liz, go to the Winchester, have a nice cold pint, and wait for all this to blow over.
Looks like a fun little game to pass the time, instead of tossing and turning all night waiting for the new Mario release.
Ugh. Undead on arrival.
BTW, what makes that thing a "Picnic Truck?" Looks like the guy (or couple of guys) that made this game bought art assets from a royalty-free shop and plugged them into an engine they designed. An ACTUAL food truck that with a gatling gun that pops out under the awning (or the sales window) would have been nifty. This? Not.
Nothing about this says, "Hey, we tried!"
@Ervex_109 We can't keep an eye on everything 24/7, but we do our best.
@alexolney one of my fave movies, cuppa is an important part of every day
Having watched a video of this in action, I’d not even download if it was free
There needs to be a garbage tab on the eShop so I can permanently get rid of games I have zero interest in - it’s just getting too crowded
Looks poop-tastic!
