Paper Mario: Color Splash is out this week, and is certainly the biggest remaining release on Wii U this year. Nintendo has been promoting the title with a series of quirky 'Rescue V' videos starring Toads, which have also been a useful way of showing off new areas in the game.
The final episode is now out, and shows footage of a quirky train area, a kitchen-style segment, and even goes into some mild spoilers in terms of the plot. Considering the fact that some have already played the game in full courtesy of a pre-load mess-up in North America, they're tame spoilers.
Check it out below.
It's been a fun little series, and now we'll see how Color Splash fares in stores. Our review will be with you before its release.

These videos where pretty funny!
I can't wait to play this game. I know my opinion won't be a popular one but I like the game for being different compared to Paper Mario 1 and 2. The first one was great and TTYD perfected that formula. Super Paper Mario was a fun departure and Sticker Star was indeed a letdown, but this seems to correct the mistakes of SS. Looking forward to Color Splash this Friday.
I don't know why, but I find a living steak a bit disgusting. Imagine if your steak would fight back before getting eaten!
Now I understand why Raw Steak become a Boss. With Salt and Pepper Summon, they turn the raw meat into Cooked Steak. Hm...now i'm hungry.
Too bad, Knife Things is not used as a Summon. Oh, I forgot to LOL for the half painted of Red Toad Ranger. XD
Btw, psst... there are some spoilers about Color Splash ending...
@KoopaTheGamer
That gonna be a scary experience to eat a Beef Steak. XD
I hope your review is out before the online retailers ship the game. They sometimes ship early like maybe this Wednesday.
That video wasn't very good at all except for the backside bit at the end.
@SLIGEACH_EIRE It won't be long indeed, my Donkey Kong, Wario, Boo and Rosalina amiibo just arrived. 3 days before the official release date. Maybe retailers aren't that strict with amiibo.
Meh. I don't know why, but there's something about this show that makes it boring.
@Oubie Ahhh So Jealous! Who'd you order from? Mine from official store haven't even shipped yet 😐
I love these cartoons and I'm looking forward to trying the game on Friday too
@Toadsfriend Hi fellow Toadian
I ordered them from a local retailer here in The Netherlands. Excited like a child to see my Boo amiibo light up at night haha!
I think this video series has done more harm than good really.
All these roads and no lumas
Duuur huuur. Butt joke at the end. Iss funnyyy
It's like comedy or something
This game will outsell the wii u
@Ninten-san May I suggest the slow pace and lack of funniness as possible explanations for your boredom?
@Oubie bedankt vriend Toad. geniet van uw nieuwe amiibo 😍
Yes, new amiibos are releasing this friday!! Oh, and Color Splash ... that's great, I guess. Truth be told, though, having watched a playthrough of the game (thanks eShop leak) I am more confident in this game than ever before. Not as great as any of the first three games but definitely better than Sticker Star.
Of course a hurricane is going to strike when this game comes out. I hope the power doesn't go out during this storm because I really want to play this over the weekend.
I'm still going to wait for a review first before taking the plunge. Although I'm quite sure I'll be buying Color Splash, I can't see Nintendo getting it wrong too much but we'll wait and see the reviews.
I really didn't like Super Paper Mario on Wii but thankfully the game isn't like that.
@abbyhitter ...What hurricane?
@wazlon
Psst...you can watch from Youtube if you interested. Beware of the Spoilers...
@Mega_Yarn_Poochy On the east coast of the US, there may be a hurricane coming through us over the weekend. It's the same hurricane that's been over Haiti today.
@Mega_Yarn_Poochy Hurricane Matthew. It's hitting the NC/SC coast this weekend. I'm right in its path.
@abbyhitter ...Wow. Though I'd hear more about it. Hope you stay safe!
I am so ready for friday.
