Rideon Japan is releasing the next game in the Mercenaries Saga series on the 3DS eShop next week.
Mercenaries Saga 3 will launch on October 5th in Japan for 500 Yen. The launch trailer can be viewed above.
The gameplay - which is a close match to Square Enix's excellent Final Fantasy Tactics franchise - looks largely unchanged, which is good news as the previous game was something of a budget gem.

loved the last game, & hope this comes to the UK. one thing that confuses me tho is there actually a mercenary saga 1?

huh. I'll try the second one. If I like it I'll give the new one a whirl.
Some of those characters look extremely similar to Fire Emblem Awakenking characters.
Regardless, I've not heard of this game before and it looks good, might have to check out no.2

This would be great to see in the west! Loved Mercenaries Saga 2 and would love a bit more challenge.
Not a bad game by any means, but the story is so dull... It's like playing a tabletop role game with the worst GM ever...
Will absolutely purchase this title. The previous installment was excellent.
Mercenary Saga 2 is quite entertaining and dirty cheap. I'll definitely give this one a go.
I'm planing to complete FF Tactics and A2 sometime before I die. If there's time I'll give this series a go. 😊
