If I could play rock covers of Castlevania and other classics then I woulda snapped it up. I don't know over half of this um..noise.
Got this on black friday last year and was pretty disappointed in the lack of track variation and updates for new songs. No staples like Metallica, Megadeth, Iron Maiden, ACDC, Guns n Roses, etc etc. made for a kinda bland experience for me. I'm planning on selling it soon to go toward the NX.
You know the situation is getting lazy when a show named "Guitar Hero Classics" features a song which has never even featured in the Guitar Hero series before (Ocean Breathes Sally).
I bought the game at launch last year for XB1 and to be honest it's been kind of a waste of money (haven't touched it since March).
Rock Band 4 however continues to be a fantastic purchase especially with the fact my last gen content transfers over.
@Grumblevolcano It was in Guitar Hero On Tour: Modern Hits for the DS. Hardly a classic though. They'd be better putting in a song from a numbered game.
@nessisonett No, Modern Hits had Dashboard.
Seriously though, I forgot this game existed.
Yikes...! >_<
DDR A looks even better than that game.
Add me up to the list of people disappointed with the game.
It might also be because I'm a bit displeased with band-based music in general as of late, but I don't think that's the issue. The tracks themselves aren't that fun to play compared to previous installments and there's a serious lack of variety in the tracklist, at least when it comes to on-disc tracks.
I keep finding this game at Walmart for around $20, sadly there all for xbox1 and ps4 (the music is a very short selection )
i rather have school supply to celebrate the first day of school, then buying DLC for it. but, cool i guess
@invictus4000 EXACTLY! All those bands that you mentioned just now are dear to me, (Especially Maiden) and the disclusion of them is just baffeling.
@TantXL Youve got good taste! Haha. Those are all favorites of mine too. GHL could have been so much more....
lol, only Advanced. I play on Advanced because my guitar controller is glitching. >_>
