As we head into the Summer months we can expect some quieter times, but the recent E3 LA extravaganza also set us up for some promising releases in the coming months; XSEED happens to be publishing a few of these that are coming to Wii U and 3DS.
The publisher has now shared a 3.5 hour stream showcasing a host of games that it showed during E3. For those with a Wii U and 3DS there are a few notable titles shown off, namely Shantae: Half-Genie Hero, Story of Seasons: Trio of Towns and Corpse Party.
Shantae still looks amazing
i only watched the corpse party anime series and it was messed up lol
All of these look really good, but I'm the most interested in Shantae: Half-Genie Hero. Loving it's artstyle.
@hieveryone You think the anime was messed up? The game will ruin you.
PS: I love the anime, it is actually a weird tradition I have where I watch it every year.
@Wexter it's also riddled with plot holes.
@Xaessya Oh it is, but it is so much fun!
@Wexter I watch it at my local anime con every year. Midnight showings. It's fun watching people who haven't seen it react to it.
LOL, first NL starts using the white Shantae group picture, then they used the regular Shantae group picture in the most recent article featuring her, and now it's back to the white Shantae again. At this rate, someone is going to get triggered...
@Wexter @Ralizah I love the smell of not so fresh moe-blob wall staining mangled carrion in the morning...
@Dakt On PC vendors, like Steam and GOG, Corpse Party is going to survive it's slow, shambling trip to Europe. For 3DS, unfortunately... It looks like the chances of it coming to European shores are.... Dead in the water!
@Wexter i enjoyed it tho but the death scenes are so effed up i remembered that bucket of tongues lolol
@PlywoodStick thats me
@hieveryone OH MY GOD! I JUST REALIZED THAT! ...So, uh... You wouldn't happen to still have that Death Note, would you...?
@Ralizah @PlywoodStick @hieveryone
We are sick people... #Blondeguymustlive
Nintendolife you should featured this story:
@Wexter Obv! Yoshiki is the best character, he's the only really cool/common sense person most of the time. Has to bail others out of their stupidity multiple times. Isn't afraid to FALCOWN PAWNCH when needed. Doesn't afraid of the spoopy ghosts. Pretty much the protagonist Satoshi wishes he could be.
@hieveryone The Anime was a little more messed up than the actual game in my opinion.
@PlywoodStick It is so funny how Yoshiki is more of the male protagonist of the series over Satoshi yet the games keep trying to push Satoshi as the male protagonist. I love Yoshiki as he is the only one with commonsense 99.9% of the time. I call him Blonde Guy as a form of affection because in the heat of the moment that is what pops out of my mouth!
@PlywoodStick The death note is with me. The site's banning code is messed up at the moment so I'm helping out, (un)fortunately.
P.S. I have a special version of the death note where I write in the person's username and it's enough to have seen their avatar.
@LemonSlice Wait... So you're saying... ALL THOSE PEOPLE WHO GOT BANNED RECENTLY ARE...
The part that seems to get a lot of people is the ending of the third episode, where Ayumi sees how the ghost children were killed. I remember one funny guy, watching the show with mounting disgust, stumbled out of the screening room after that scene mumbling about needing some water. He was white as a sheet. Never came back, either.
Story of seasons and shantae for me.
@PlywoodStick shhhhhhh you're going to tip off Near. Actually, I'm getting a bit nervous about you telling on me...
is the second game shown only for ps4?
I like the stream, the girls (and the guy offscreen) have such good energy. You can always tell when people are really invested and when they're just pushing out dry PR.
Half Genie Hero looks great!
Of course the one I really want is only available on PS4. Nintendo, get your act together! Luckily you have Shantae to save you.
