A week ago we lightly teased a new video designed to showcase Tokyo Mirage Sessions #FE, mainly because the narrator - DJ MasterSeal - said things like dude and literally a bit too much. Grumpy old man syndrome aside though, it was a handy video for learning a little bit more about what makes the game tick.
Another episode has now been published and does a similarly decent job. It shows off some of the features to be found in dungeons, while highlighting important stuff like finding loot, taking on sub-quests and traversing areas by walking through enormous jumpers. That actually happens.
This video, in this writer's humble opinion, is a solid effort - it certainly shows some of the cooler aspects of the game. With release not far away this game will benefit from all the solid promotional videos that Nintendo can muster.

The more and more that I see this game, the less and less I want it. It looks great, but sadly I think I am no longer in the proper age group for it.
Can't wait. Seems quirky and fun. And hopefully challenging as well, seeing as it's an Atlus game.
@Nin10doh My Thoughts exactly. I still have the Fortissimo Edition pre-ordered. Might as well keep it sealed
Meh...got better games to go after.
I was super excited about this game and had the fortissimo version pre-ordered, but then I found out about NoA having the developers redo some of the scenes.
I'm ok with the new "censored" costumes, but I'm disappointed with the changes to the script and dungeon. Especially since I love Persona 4 and feel Atlus should have been given the go-ahead to do anything they wanted.
Still going to buy the game (as long as it doesn't become super rare and expensive) but I'm ok with not getting it day 1 (I moved my pre-order to FF XV). (o_O )
I am still getting this. I know I am going to love this game. Honestly people complain we are not getting any games but will not give games like this a chance. I, for one, cant wait to play this game.
It's been a long time coming, but I finally understand what this game is about. Unfortunately, I have more pressing games that I am playing/going to be playing very soon, so this one will have to wait. I still have it in my Gamefly queue to rent, so I will try to get to it when I can. RPGs are a serious investment of time lol
Oh, hush up Nintendo Life. You act like this is all brand new stuff. You've already got a review copy, and you're plowing through it like no tomorrow. You've probably already beat everything while the rest of us have to sit around and wait.
3 years I've been waiting... It's finally here.
I am very excited for this game. It's not what I initially expected but it looks excellent nonetheless.
It's high time Wii U got a good game like this.
No swearing please...-Megumi
Glad they toned down the narrator's hippity-hopness.
The game looks good, though in terms of its SMT and Fire Emblem influences it seems neither here nor there. I'm certainly hoping it's good.
This is the only Wii U game I plan on picking up this year with the exception of Twilight Princess HD. I doubt I'll pick it up day one, but it looks like a great game to play over the summer. The game is very... out there, I'd say. But the Persona vibe interesting story definitely got me excited!
DJ MasterSeal is pure cringe! NOA... that explains everything.
From the same people who brought us such examples as this headache inducing vomit.

The title didn't click for me.
I'm actually looking forward to getting this. It looks fun and quirky.
@Vulxar me too. Though it's less of how NoA is treating the game, and more that I don't think i'm good enough to play it. SMT IV was really hard, and this is about comparable. I may just stick with Atlus' own EO series. I may break the game out once I finish XBX.
Well despite all the rumors of cancellation, the lack of news for years. In less than 1 month we'll have one of the best RPG's to ever grace a Nintendo system!
Looks good for the Persona fans! I had enough after 3 and 4, myself... Don't have a PS3/4 for Persona 5, and I have other priorities over this. If it had been a reboot in the vein of Majin Tensei, I would call off my priorities and jump on it! At least SMT4: Apocalypse and Etrian Oddysey 5 are coming soon...
This game is a "maybe" for me. If I indeed get it, it won't be right away.
When I first saw the whole Idol aspect and none of the SMT or Fire Emblem things I was like eehhhhh no thanks.
~Keep it pg please

You're awesome!
@Dakt Yet we see a vocal group of people bash said "hype" trailers and praise those with actual substance.
Different strokes for different markets.
I'd like them to advertise the dungeons and exploration some more. At the start, I was very put off this game since it seemed to be completely about dancing around and battling on stage.
I'm not too sure about this, mainly because I'm rpg'd out with Fates, Final Fantasy, Legend of Legacy, Bravely Second and others already. I'll likely pick it up later as it looks pretty decent and it's for the Wii U. I'll stick with the 3DS and Nindies in the meantime.
The video is way better than the last one. I guess Nintendo must have seen the response to the "hip" narrator and decided to dial his schtick back.
And yeah, this is giving me all sorts of Persona vibes.
It's an RPG on the Wii U. That in itself has sold it to me as there's not much competition out there on the same console. It looks great fun to me and I haven't got into the Persona games yet so don't have anything to compare it to.
This came up as the #5 most memorable Wii U game in a recent Famitsu survey so there must be something there.
