While it may seem a little odd that LEGO Star Wars: The Force Awakens is arriving in June, six months after the movie, there's certainly the hope that it'll be a fun game on Wii U and 3DS - that extra development time has surely been put to good use.
With the 28th June arrival getting closer we're seeing more short trailers and reveals, and the most recent is a 'character spotlight' video focused on ace pilot Poe Dameron. He had some of the film's funnier moments, and is certainly a character that could fit the LEGO narrative style rather nicely.
In any case, this snapshot trailer shows some of the different play styles in the upcoming release. This is Poe Dameron, so naturally this includes some fun-looking flying in an X-Wing - see if you can feel the force after watching it below.

The last 4 seconds kinda put me off the game...
I'd love a good all around Star Wars game for the Wii U......I hope Disney will allow different publishers to utilize the license once the EA contract is up
Rogue Squadron IV pls.
Looks awesome
I've not seen the film yet so I'll avoid that trailer for now in case of spoilers.
I've not played a Lego star wars game and the idea of flying an x wing etc in game never crossed my mind, I might look this up at some point to relive some fond rogue squadron memories!!
I think this looks fantastic. Seriously upgrading the gameplay where it'says been needed! This makes the loss of anymore DISNEY INFINITY Star Wars sets that much easier to take.
Regarding the June release date Lego Jurassic, Lego Avengers, Lego Force Awakens, Lego whatever will come out this holiday. So there's the spacing issue. Plus, there will be a new Star Wars movie every year for the next 5 years, so SW is always in season, doesn't really matter when this comes out.
Personally we'll wait for the trilogy, it will happen. They put the first 6 movies into 1 game, they can squeeze these 3, or who knows maybe all 6? 12 movies might be pushing it though.
Still waiting on news on the next Lego game. Maybe it's such a big announcement they want to release this one first and have people buy it before they hold onto their money for the next? Waiting on Skylanders too,and Lego D. Not DI though.
I'm not a fan of Lego platformers. But if this is more like Rogue Squadron I'll be interested! Also, it looked like a 3rd person shooter at the end, which would be awesome as well.
Amazing that the best Star Wars game this generation is coming from TT games and not EA.
@OneBagTravel
"Rogue Squadron IV pls."
I would like to forget Rogue Squadron III, and get a proper sequel to Rouge Squadron II.
Call it Rouge Squadron IV, call it whatever, I don't care, if it would be as good as the first two.
Has more aerial dogfights than Star Wars Battlefront. lol
The Stars Wars Lego games have always been my favorite by far , day one purchase here I just don't know which one I will get the 3DS or Wii U version.
