Pokémon Sun and Moon will have slow and steady reveals over a number of weeks and months, assuming The Pokémon Company follows the same strategy as it has with past releases. Following the initial reveal of the Starter Pokémon and release dates, it was recently confirmed that more details are coming on 2nd July.
Pleasingly, for those hoping for a similarly high-profile video and website information drop, it's been given a reveal time similar to that initial batch. The update will come at 10pm in Japan, which is 6am Pacific / 9am Eastern / 2pm UK / 3pm CET.
That's a date and time to put in the diary - what do you hope to see revealed this time?

Gotta admit, I'm not into Pokemon as I used to, but after the last trailer I totally want to hear more about Sun and Moon!
@ThomasBW84 You got the reveal delayed by a month in the article, it says 2nd July; simple mistake or you know more than you're saying?
Every time I see that Lion it makes me think of Lio Convoy. I was going to get moon but I think I'm gonna have to go with sun now just so I can have a Transformer pokemon.
"That's a date and time to put in the diary"
But which date, June 2nd, July 2nd, or both?
AKA what @BakaKnight said
It's really hard to believe The Pokemon Company has any relation at all to Ntinedo, we've already seen more for Sun & Moon than for Zelda U, and that was supposed to release it 2015, yet is still doens't even have a proper name yet. Pokemon has TWO names.
A teaser about more news...still seems odd to me. Forget more youtube videos, just give me the darn game to play.
I just want to see the evolution stages of the starters. That's all. I try to play the game spoiler-free, and that is ging to be hard...
It IS definitely June, not July, as might expect. You can see the numbers in the official tweet if you're sceptical. 6月2日 corresponds to the 6th month and the 2nd day of said month. AKA 2nd June. AAKA June 2nd.
I want it to more focused on any changes to the game mechanics and new features, maybe 1 new pokemon. I felt with x and y they showed too many of them before which ruined the excitement of discovering new ones. It made it even worse that there were less than usual in those games. Less is more for me in this case
I was just saying on the Pokémon Apex article that such fangames make me even more hyped for the real deal, and here the Pokémon Company is at it again, pulling once more the same crap.
A tease of a tease of a reveal of a tease of a reveal of a reveal of a tease of a reveal of a tease of a reveal of a reveal of a tease of a tease of a reveal of a reveal of a reveal of a tease of a tease, we get it.
The date in the Article says July instead of June!
@MrNinten

Two days earlier than...

To people complaining about 'teasers of teasers', it's quite blatantly a move to beat Corocoro leaks. They're specifically revealing new info each month to the masses so that information can be enjoyed by all without having other sources leak information first. I think it's brilliant, though at the same time, I've made a tradition of following Corocoro leaks since 4th gen and miss the excitement of waking up to Serebii's slur of news.
As for the reveal, I'd like to see a few new Pokemon as well as the starter's evolutions and typings, the official names and typings of Solgaleo and Lunaara (even if they keep the same names, I do like them), and maybe a taste of the story. Maybe more character customization options as well!
the news is coming June 2nd not July 2nd. I'm seriously hyped for this game. I can't wait to get my hands on this game and play the heck out of it. I'm replay Pokemon X right now to catch as many Pokes as I can. I didn't really do that through my first playthrough and I want to get back into Red and catch all the Pokes in that one too.
In the Pokemon tweet, the character (well..pictograph) next to the 6 is for month/moon 月, and next to the 2 is for day/sun 日...
So yeah, looking forward to it.
Seems interesting
Looking forward to this. I don't think it will be anything substantial - they'll probably talk about the new style the games have now adopted. Or maybe if we're lucky, talk a bit about the new characters. But I wouldn't be surprised if they just explained the legendaries and starters in detail along with the new region. Just to get us up to speed with what we're dealing with and how they've gone about it.
Good to know
