If you've been playing the Event Courses in Super Mario Maker, you've probably seen the two courses made by Shinya Arino, host of the long-running Japanese gaming series GameCenter CX. You might've even snagged the character costume of the kacho (chief) himself! Of course, that means you likely had to deal with a few of his tricks to get it.
If you'd like to see Arino get a taste of his own medicine, the next episode of GameCenter CX will feature him working through Super Mario Maker courses sent in by viewers. Given the fan base, it's highly doubtful they're going to go easy on him, either.
Don't get Fuji TV One? Neither do we, but it looks like we're in luck! Nintendo Japan's YouTube channel appears to be broadcasting the show live as it airs, using the below video feed:
According to Nintendo Everything, the episode will run Saturday, 12th December at 5 a.m. Pacific Time, 8 a.m. Eastern Time, and 1 p.m. in the UK. Luckily, no regions will get blocked out, but the episode is bound to get archived somewhere if they are.
Will you be up for watching some made Mario this Saturday? Let us know!

This should be fun.
Who doesn't love a little CameCenter CX?
How do we submit levels to him?
@Handy_Man You used to be able to submit them here — https://www.nintendo.co.jp/wiiu/amaj/arinoplay/index.html — but they stopped taking levels a couple of weeks ago. I submitted a few but I made a GameCenter CX-themed level since then and didn't submit it, bit of an idiot moment there on my part.
For the sake of clarity - I cleared only one of Arino's courses, and unlocked his costume. Do the other CX courses unlock the very same costume or did I miss something cooler than that?
@AlexSora89 There is one GCCX costume. There are three GCCX event courses. Therefore, they all unlock the same thing.
Can't wait! I'm a big GCCX fan Such a fun show! Yay for fan subtitles.
I'm sort of beside myself — he played my level! Yes, I'm the Canadian Justin that @ThomasBW84 hoped was watching. Like an idiot, I wasn't — I had a super busy weekend and week and thought I'd wait for a translation to watch the broadcast. Still really happy about this, it's just crazy that Arino played my level!
