The Binding of Isaac: Rebirth is an excellent roguelike adventure game on Wii U and New Nintendo 3DS, combining randomly generated, Zelda-esque dungeons with an extremely graphic art style and theme. We awarded both versions an 8/10, praising the virtually endless amount of content that's packed in and the fiendishly addictive nature of the gameplay. While this may be yesterday's news to those in North America, European Nintendo fans have still been waiting anxiously for this messy masterpiece to reach their shores. The end is finally in sight, though, as Nicalis has confirmed the date for this title's release in the region.

On the official Nicalis Twitter page an update was posted that pegged the game for 29th October. The timing of this release is sure to delight many horror enthusiasts; not only does it come one day before Fatal Frame: Maiden of the Black Water releases in the region, but it's just in time for All Hallows' Eve.

Will you be picking this up when it comes out? How do you think Fatal Frame's release will impact this game's début? Drop us a comment in the section below.
