Super Mario Maker is out in the shops today and to celebrate our chums at Nintendo UK have challenged Nintendo Life readers to create the most ingenious, challenging, or creative Super Mario Maker levels which will be showcased at EGX at the Birmingham NEC on Saturday 26th September.
The Nintendo Life user submitted levels will be play tested by the NL team and three will be chosen to be shown on Nintendo UK's booth during all 4 days of EGX. In addition to this there will be a big demonstration on Saturday afternoon of the three levels on the main stage, so step forth and let your creativity shine!
The three winners will get £100 to spend on the Official Nintendo UK Store and a Retro Colours Super Mario Maker amiibo. You'll also get free entry for you and a friend to EGX on Saturday 26th September.
The competition will close at midnight on Thursday 17th September. User submitted levels must be done so via this link:

Cool comp, but I can't make it to Birmingham.
It's like Nintendo forget that the UK is actually PART of Europe rolls eyes.
Add the rest of us into your competitions please, if Ninty of American can do it I don't see why EU Nintendo can't.
I've said this before but Nintendo UK covers the UK and Ireland. So why are us Irish continually omitted from these competitions? And the cost of travel and possibly accommodation just wouldn't make it viable.
I doubt my levels will be that good, but I'll still try hard to create a good one to submit for this competition.
Ah....welp, I get £100 for the UK Store courtesy of Mr Cameron, so I shant be entering. Another crux to being on holiday away from the Wii U.
Sounds great but to be fair I won't enter, I already have tickets for EGX on Friday so if I won it would be greedy.
I would consider entering if only the UK Store decided they wanted to post my order! They've always been really good, but for some reason haven't even dispatched today... Anyone else had this problem? I'm sad to say at least I have a ps4 (MGSV & Tearaway to play), however, feels wrong that I won't get to play Maker on the anniversary weekend. 1st world worries.
is there a limit on how many levels someone can enter?
Hey guys I uploaded my first level it would be amazing if somebody could give it a trial run =) The code is 5F5E-0000-003D-A33A. I am happy to test out some of the community's levels =)
