Nintendo is always looking to improve 3DS system sales and one of the best ways to achieve this is by enticing potential new owners with fancy themed bundles.
Following on from the recently announced Splatoon Wii U bundle, Nintendo Australia will be offering a Super Smash Bros. for 3DS bundle including the game with a New Nintendo 3DS console, exclusive limited edition cover plates and an amiibo figure of the customer’s choice – depending on stock available.
The deal will be available at EB Games (AU/NZ) and JB Hi-Fi (AU) stores from 21st May while stocks last. Pricing details have not yet been revealed.
If you live in Australia or New Zealand, let us know in the comments if you - or anyone else you know - would be tempted by this bundle offer.

And so the ambassador exclusive Smash cover plates are no longer ambassador exclusive.
@Grumblevolcano They kind of never were, Japan had them since the beginning (of course with Japanese text).
But they can't take away the exclusivity of our Nintendo cover plates!
At the start of the week I decided I will eventually buy a new 3ds to replace my old XL and to go alongside my Majoras Mask n3DS XL so I bought a couple of cover plates and pondered if they would ever bring something exclusive out for the standard n3DS...I think Nintendo can read my thoughts...
Hehe...'choice of available Amiibo' so that means we have no choice at all coz there's no amiibo that are available!
Ok..not as funny as I thought.
Don't have my hands on a new 3ds yet and haven't got all the Amiibo so I may get this...
The Smash Cover Plate is awesome that came with my Ambassador 3DS. Although I've been using the Princess Peach Cover Plate, as it's more colorful!
Oh cover-plates, it is so sad that Nintendo thinks we in NA are too stupid to know the difference between the New 3DS and the old.
@Grumblevolcano These plates were never exclusive to the Ambassador 3DS anyway - I saw them for sale on a Japanese website lol. Watch, they will start selling the other set of exclusive Ambassador plates soon... The one with Nintendo in English and Japanese on the plates...
I've hidden mine away and using Red Toad plates at the moment.
Your "choice" of Amibo won't be quite your choice.
I would like to retire My 3DSXL Nintendo When can I buy a white n3DS in NA?
Nintendo could have used this system to promote Puzzle & Dragons. Then the n3DS would be in peoples hands at E3 & Comic Con.
@CrazyOtto it will be your choice though, just don't expect out of stock or rare figures... lol
meanwhile in america...
