With Hyrule Warriors about to hit stores in North America, Nintendo is stepping up its final pre-launch push to promote the Warriors / Zelda crossover. The latest trailer, however, is rather quirky.
As you can see below, this video is focused on the role of Cuccos in the game, in their capacity as allies and — if you upset them — foes.
We think this is a pretty humorous effort, but let us know what you think. In the meantime, below is Eiji Aonuma doing a Cucco dance at E3; we just really like this video.

I like that windwaker shirt. That is a NICE windwaker shirt.
Attack on Cucco.
I love that "May contain content inappropriate for children" on the video of Aonuma doing a cuko dance.
They will destroy us all...do you hear me!? THEY WILL DESTROY US ALL!
Having played for this in a week, cuccos should be much rarer in the game, its so common in adventure mode, and sometimes i accindetly hit them and my whole mission fails just because of them. >_> I still like the inclusion tho
Everybody thinks that global warming or nukes will end this world... They're all wrong! The world will end in a massive Cucco storm!
I found a cucco in Faron Woods and preceded to beat it up. Then for almost the whole mission I was fighting cuccos. They're invincible. Except for the gold cucco. You can kill that.
Aonuma-san!
What r u doin!
Aonuma-san!
Stahp!
As usual, attacking the Cuccos has them crying fowl.
90 minutes. Should be ready to buy just when the Giant game is over.
The cuccos are insane in a good way.
looks interesting but... $64.99 is too much for this game.
@ikki5 Why's that?
Day 1
Lol, that cheery music! Haven't heard it in the game yet, maybe its not in the game? By the way: The gold Cucco is FAST!
@SnowyGlaceon does anything happen when you defeat the gold cucco aside from the cuccos ceasing their attempts on your life?
Also, there's a medal to be earned when you get killed by a cucco.
I had to restart a stage after being killed by an angry cucco mob several times. Fun times though!
So cute and cruel.
@liljmoore it just doesn't to me feel like it should be a full retail price.
Lol do not, i repeat do not mess with them on Hero difficulty. Not only will they mess your whole game up they will also leap from the screen itself and proceed to f%#k you up in your own home.
Tasty.
@Tsurii897 I haven't played a DW game before myself but I have followed this game closely. My point is that with all of the playable characters, unlockables, game modes, and the pick up and play fun of a button mashing beat'em up, I agree that many people will get a good return on this $60 investment. If only I didn't have to work today...
XD XD
What out PETA will be on the war path
@ikki5 seriously this game has more content than a lot of games get,I have barely touched the surface of the game. Adventure mode is gonna add at least another 50 hours on top of the already mammoth legend mode.
Plus there are achievements as well. Characters to unlock and to level up all of them is gonna take a while.
It's well worth £32.99 which I have seen it for in shops
I couldn't watch the Aonuma dance on my WiiU browser, so I'll add it here.

That's what I think lol--
@Iggly "I... have a dream. To eliminate the Cuccos, leave the narrow confines of these walls, and explore the outside world."
I'd already suffered "Death by Cucoo" before I'd seen this article. The child in me finds it hilarious to go for the Cucoo knowing what the outcome will be!
Hyrule Warriors has really surprised me, it is really addictive, fun and fully deserves the asking price! It will happily tide me over until the next Zelda game appears.
