Retro-inspired "demakes" of popular modern games are all the rage these days, but don't you want to put some on your walls? Swedish graphic designer Junkboy has created a wide array of gorgeous 16-bit demake art, much of which is available for purchase online. You can check out his Tumblr page for the full collection, but here are a few of his Nintendo-inspired beauties:

Super Mario Galaxy 2
Super Mario Galaxy 2
Sin & Punishment: Star Successor

Metroid: Other M

Pikmin

Super Smash Bros. Brawl
Super Smash Bros. Brawl

What do you think? Should Nintendo add a bonus "16-bit mode" to the next Super Smash Bros.? Would Other M have been less terrible had it featured retro graphics? Let us know in the comments below!
