It's been announced during today's Nintendo Direct presentations that a special Legend of Zelda Miiverse community will be launching today for the Wii U.
While we still have some time before The Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker HD and the Wii U Legend of Zelda games release, fans of the series will be able to share thoughts with each other, as well as show off some fantastic Zelda related-artwork to the community.
Iwata also mentioned Eiji Aonuma himself might contribute to the Miiverse community "from time to time."
Will you be throwing yourself into this potentially exciting community?

Bring on the year of luigi!!! This sounds like a good idea to me. Imagine there will be a lot of enthusiastic discussion. Would personally like to see a Zelda dungeon designer that takes advantage of the touchscreen for creating and sharing your own dungeon designs. With a central Hyrule style hub.
Seems a little odd to make one for Zelda but not Mario. Not that I'm complaining, I'm sure that'll come at some point.
There are already Mario games on the market, so there are Miiverse communities around those games.
Zelda games are AWOL on the Wii U, hence no where to discuss them Miiverse style.
I think this might be a secret admission that new Zelda? Not any time soon...
@Yosher There is a New Super Mario Bros. U community already, but no Community specifically for Zelda. That's why that's Zelda, not Mario.

It was flooded with activity. Eiji Aonuma's posts got lost pretty fast. They were also written in Japanese, so I have no idea what he said. I enjoy contributing drawings to the awesome, fun and mostly uncynical miiverse community! (It's addicting. I'm asullivan on there.)
Nintendo has a moment of clarity: "people also want to talk about unreleased Wii U game, so let's help them out!'...by creating ONE!
That's great Nintendo, but couldn't you just create a whole bunch of other communities to cater for other unreleased titles as well. Save me risking code of conduct violations every time I want to discuss Monolith Soft's new game (for example)
Favorited the community. I hope we can see some more general series communities. Like Pokemon, Animal Crossing, Mario, etc.

Since I am a big Zelda fan I could see myself joining that community! After all it sounds a bit like a Zelda forum, and that's always fun (you know, to read people's opinions and give your own)!
It surprises me that there is already a Zelda Miiverse community coming, but no Mario one so far! I guess that will happen in the future too!
