Last week we made sure those of you in North America knew all about the free Kid Icarus: Uprising AR card giveaway, but thankfully European gamers don't need to miss out.
If you head on over to the European Stars Catalogue, you may notice that at the top of the list is a set of 12 Kid Icarus: Uprising AR cards, available for 250 stars. It's not a huge price to pay — it's five download game registrations, for example — so may be worthwhile to get your collection up and running. The North American package was free and contained three named cards, whereas the European pack has 12 random cards.
We'll keep an eye out for details on other AR card promotions on both sides of the Atlantic.

Awesome! Cmon NOA
(GIVE US THESE >:0)
You can't register download games anymore can you? At least not eShop ones.
o comon,we couldnt get a random pack to,o well the ones we had probaubly something hard to get in those random packs
Still not a single word about the availability of the cards in the European countries that Nintendo doesn't consider to be a part of Europe.
@nick_gc I wonder whether stars are awarded automatically for eShop games, as I seemed to have more than I expected when I logged in, with eShop downloads showing as 'registered'. I still have the option to claim 50 stars on my older DSiWare downloads (which were also made on the 3DS).
I'm not 100% sure, actually
Brought 3 packs. Thank god I have 2 accounts, 1 main one and another for spare codes/stars.
Nothing for AUS.
Time to Duel
@nick_gc and @ThomasBW84 yes if you connected your 3DS to your club Nintendo account, then it does give you coins for completing a survey. Man, I wish I could get 12 AR cards, but I still thank you Nintendo for the 3 free ones!!!
Insert typical NoA complaint here
Good to know but I can't get these because I'm a Finn. Are they going to sell these in game stores too, or what? Not sure if I would buy any of them though, especially if they're more than 5 euros a pack....
Any idea how many Cards there are in total?
@GonzoMontana Hundreds
I ordered 60 cards! So I'm safe for the limited cards!
@Gonzo I heard that there are 330 cards in total in 'series 1'
My package just arrive. Going by the AKDP-number on the cards the highest number I have is 374! ... o.O
I guess I'm gonna spend a lot of stars for those cards!!!
im hoping theyll do this for CN NOA! :3
How come Nintendo never made a CN App for 3DS, and maybe IOS.
@nick_gc You can, you connect you account and the survey pops up on CN.
Is Australia getting this of course not Club Nintendo Australia sucks (the latest item is some blue fan and it as been the latest item for 2 years !!!!!!!!!!!)
If there are really over 300 cards, CN NOA really does need to offer this. I have my 3 free ones and the one in Game Informer for now though.
@Zero123 The Australian Club Nintendo isn't as great as some of the others but it isn't that bad. You seem to forget that the blooper fan is a fairly new item (the first two fans were Animal Crossing and Mario) and that some items have dissapeared from the store. There was the Kirby pouch a while ago for example and the SNES Classic Controller before that.
Oh, and the Zelda Posters and G&W2 are both very recent additions.
Excellent I have over 5000 stars i think ill be buying a few packs then
I thought only a certain amount of cards would be available through club Nintendo.
The cards that come with the game are selected from a pile of 20, I thought club Nintendo was doing this as well?
I just ordered 22 packs from club Nintendo though.
Is 250 stars on Europe CN the same as 250 coins in America? If so, thats way more here than 5 eShop game registrations, here that's 5 retail registrations.
And I'd prefer buying them at retail locations for a couple of dollars.
@SkywardLink98 you get 250 stars for registering a £33+ game (RRP) or one 3DS game.
So the cards are very cheap for us, the most expensive thing on club Nintendo is a golden Link statue (15000 stars). I was saving up for it... not anymore I'm not.
will there be ar cards in the usa in club nintendo?
so if they do come state side they will be about 30-40 coins based on the UK rate
Can someone get me a pack???? Lol, all we get is three cardz....
Anybody in the US get their 3 cards yet? Mine shipped 10 days ago but no sign of them yet, and no tracking on their website. We're supposed to be getting the game in the mail today.
Ugh. Cant believe i missed out on the free AR cards for the US last week. Heading to CN.com to register KI so hopefully i'll be able to get em then.
