Level-5 is extremely busy on 3DS these days: we know a little more about Fantasy Life but the company also just announced a new project called Guild 01, a collaboration between some of Japan's best designers.
Grasshopper Manufacture's Suda 51, Ogre Battle: The March of the Black Queen director Yasumi Matsuno and Seaman creator Yoot Saito are all involved with the project, creating unique games and bundling them together.
The game is actually a compilation of four titles: Suda 51 robot shooter Kaiho Shojo; Rental Bukiya de Omasse, a weapon shop RPG by a comedy group; Air Porter, Saito's oddball game about handling baggage; and Crimson Shroud, a dark fantasy RPG by Matsuno.
It all sounds pretty good, really. We should know more in the next few days as Level-5's dishing out more details this weekend.

hello world
hello
Sounds interesting.
They should have a level where the characters from each game meet in a crossover. Though it makes me wonder why there have't been many compilations from multiple developers before - Wii Play Motion is another example.
This sounds interesting, I hope we see some footage of it at Level-5 world this weekend.
This game looks interesting; 4 original games on one cartridge? New games as well? I can't remember the last time that has happened (other than Wii Play Motion, as @C-Olimar mentioned above, and the very recent Pacman & Galaga Dimensions). I think more developers should do this, especially with games that wouldn't do very well at full-price (like Cave Story 3D).
Seaman!
sounds intriguing.
That sounds like a great way to fix the value and pricing problem for the 3DS: just make retail games that are compilations of smaller, varied titles. You get more justifiable bang for your $40 that way. Very few original (3rd party) games on the system seem capable of justifying that price alone, so why not combine 2 to 4 on a cart?
I would prefer four individual 3DSWare titles. Not all of these sound interesting.
Gimme now! [throws money at Japan]
Please let this come to America ... I love awesome game compilations!
I WANT GUILD 01 NOW!!!!!
Chances of this coming out in America? Zero.
Now, there is no excitement until i see an official english Logo. I learned that from Nintendo.
I'm in, sight unseen. If you have those names and pedigrees all in one cartridge, you probably need special gloves to handle it. Mere mortals are not physically capable of touching such a concentrated amount of awesome with bare skin.
this will either be really, really amazing or really, really lame. there is no in-between when it comes to this level of talent being distilled into one collaborative effort. here's hoping it's the former.
@TBD
Well it could be inbetween. Some games turn out to be crap while others are better. A common trait in these type of deals. Hope for number 2 they add in more stuff by up incomers while having the more established devs sale the experience.
Sounds very promising, can't wait to see what they got in store for this.
Hmm, a comedy RPG. That's sounds interesting. You don't see very many of those.
This sounds fun. I'll definitely be keeping a close eye on this.
Not enough compilation retail games nowadays imho. Nice.
Oh man! This is gonna be awesome!!
