If you like using your DSi to make beautiful music, you've so far been mostly limited to keyboards and studio software, with few to no alternatives. Abylight's Music On series is about to throw a new six-stringed option into the mix with the launch of Music On: Acoustic Guitar next week.
Selling at the same 200 Point price as its predecessors, Acoustic Guitar is aimed at existing strummers and those new to the instrument, with the sound of fingers moving on frets replicating the full-size instrument in a pocket format. The application can also be used to accompany a real guitar: its chord dictionary containing over 900 variations should be enough to satisfy the most chord-thirsty player.
Released in North America on Monday and a European launch following on Friday, we'll have a full review shortly.

I'm really interested in this, but I haven't tried the previous in the series.
Sounds like a lot of improvements
That looks sweet!
This does look interesting. However, I am increasingly dismayed with the "coming soon" and release lists for DSiWare being filled with notebooks, diaries, music apps, pen-and-paper and board games. When I want to do any of these things, I do not use my DSi. I bought my DSi for video games, not personal productivity, education, or tic-tac-toe. Thank you.
I've been using Jam Sessions to guitar-on-the-go for years now. For someone that can't read music it's a great way to figure a song out before you actually learn to play it on a real guitar. This sounds deeper than Jam Sessions, can't wait to see for myself
As a guitarist, i think this could be a benefit for me.I could always learn more.
neat
waste of points!
Another neat app to get! I hope they include an option for left-hander!
