The Nintendo Unleashed tour will be starting this weekend as The Big N gives fans the opportunity to play the latest and biggest titles before they hit the shops. The tour takes its first steps at the London Film and Comic Con on the 17th and 18th of July, where attendees will be able to get their hands on games like Metroid: Other M and Dragon Quest IX: Sentinels of the Starry Skies. Sounds good, no?
As well as upcoming releases, gamers will also be able to play the astral big-hitter Super Mario Galaxy 2, take down beasts in Monster Hunter 3 (Tri~), sharpen their sword-slashing skills on Samurai Warriors 3, blast their way through Sin and Punishment: Successor of the Skies, do WarioWare: DIY themselves, and digest some Mario & Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story at various locations around the UK.
An if that's still not enough for you, gamers in attendance will have the chance to win the following prizes:
- A black Nintendo Wii
- A Nintendo DSi
- A new Nintendo game every month for a year
Here's the list of tour dates from a recent press release:
London Film & Comic Convention, Earls Court 2, London, 17‑18 July
Edinburgh Interactive Festival, TBC, Edinburgh, 12‑13 August
Eurogamer Expo, Earls Court, London, 1‑3 October

Do we get to choose what game we get each month if we win the prize?
There is a problem with the third prize, Nintendo never launches a new game every month...
@Hiroshi They'll probably not be brand new games every time.
^^No, it's just stuff retailers can't get rid of. Hope you enjoy your 12 different "Imagine" games!
I'll probably go to the ExCel centre in London and take a peek.
@zkaplan
That makes perfectly sense.
Lucky Brits, I wanna play Super Mario Galaxy 2 for money!
Great promotion for Metroid and more..

Nooooooooooo, I will be in London the 20th ahhhhhh!!!! why?
Where's the chance for the fans in the US to try out Metroid: Other M before its release date, Nintendo?
I wish I could enter for a chance to win a Nintendo DSi that'll be outdated in less than a year.
Well it is free Adam. Probably autographed too. It'd fetch a nice price on Ebay.
@Metroid_Fan
You would think they would be in San Diego, CA for the Comic Con next week. They usually have a big showing there every year. Huh? That would have been a no brainer. Oh well
I love how Nintendo's idea of a 'tour' is to go to THE SAME CITY THREE TIMES.
They should call it The Nintendo Unleashed We Got Here Now We Can't Be Bothered Packing Up And Moving Again Tour
