Ignition Entertainment has just sent us the official Airship Trailer for their upcoming air-based RPG Nostalgia coming to Nintendo DS this fall.
The trailer shows how you can customize your airship to suit your needs, as well as some of the game's trademark airship battles in action.
Below is a snipped from the press release for the game along with the Airship Trailer itself.
Nostalgia is an RPG developed by Matrix Studios and published in North America by Ignition Entertainment. Set in the 19th century, Nostalgia gives players control of main character Eddy, son of a legendary English adventurer, and the adventure begins as Eddy and a cast of fellow Londoners set off on an adventure that takes them across the world.
One of the key game play elements in Nostalgia is the presence of flight which allows players to move about the world through the air rather than walking across an large overworld map. Nostalgia’s epic air ship battles and exploration of expansive maps through the air brings another dimension to the RPG and adds to the fighting party-based command battles which take place in dungeons throughout the game.
We'll have more information on Nostalgia as it becomes available, as well as a full review of the game when it's released this fall.

That makes two of us.
Wow, I'm really impressed by this trailer and I love the airship battles! Sign me up for Nostalgia!
I am really looking forward to this
It has that Skies of Arcadia vibe about it. The fact that it's coming to DS is just icing on the cake.
Wait, so basically it's exactly like every other turn-based RPG except the normal guys on the ground fighting monsters are replaced by an airship fighting a line of other airships? I'll pass. And those modifications look extremely lame.
This trailer wasn't very good. Exploration looks like it's in early alpha - the camera needs more work, and the rotation needs to not be instant. Throw some inertia in there boys!
Battles... Eh, they lack punch. The first trailer was impressive, this one... not so much.
The game is basically finished as far as development goes and is already out in Japan. This version is just being localized.
Can't wait to get this.
it looks cool but i dont think i can get it. i have waaay too many games to be getting this fall. all in the same month too. maybe ill pick it up for christmas....maybe...
I love the touch of Victorian culture in this game
is there any wifi? like in FFCC EoT or RoF? or Phantasy Star 0?
if so im interested... i love that in a portable RPG game
Cannot wait for this game! It looks awesome. Airship battles are going to be sweet. It should be good enough to tide me over for Golden Sun DS (at least I hope so).
Ahhhh...more good stuff on the DS. Will I ever catch up???
Im so pumped up about this game and that its insane that another RPG for DS is on my radar with Kingdom Hearts coming out also in a few months.
i wasnt interested in this game until the trailer. it may be one of my only non square enix or nintendo RPGs
I still say the DS can do better graphics-wise, but if they game's good who cares?
