We compile this list using the USA region Wii Shop channel, so if you live elsewhere your list will probably be quite a bit different. Please feel free to post your region's findings below as always.
Keep in mind that the list below is a measure of actual sales made recently, not of the total time the game has been available for sale.

Our two classic gaming heroes, Mega Man and Bomberman, are both ruling the charts here in the US. Mega Man 9 is hanging in at the #1 spot while Bomberman Blast climbed four spots to #2 this week. You just can't beat good old-fashioned retro gaming goodness.
Nintendo's surprise title Art Style: Orbient was the big mover of the week jumping a whopping ten spots to #4, while Strong Bad: Episode 2 posted the biggest drop, falling four spots to #7. As you can also see, Plättchen: Twist 'n Paint still hasn't cracked the Top 20 yet, and it's not looking like it will at this point.
My Aquarium is probably the biggest surprise as this fish tank simulation just keeps topping the charts week after week. It seems Hudson might be on to something here. Wii owners obviously love fish.
Both new releases this week, MadStone and Midnight Bowling, didn't even crack the Top 20. That's a bit of a shame since we thought MadStone was actually an enjoyable puzzle release.
As always, have your say on this week’s findings below. We'd love to hear what you have to say.

I was going to harshly comment on why Pong toss is still doing so well , but instead I decided to focus on the top 3 awesomely awesome downloads!
I think all three are worthy of a #1 spot
Edit: All five are worthy of the top spot! Also just wait till Alien Crush hits the US
That's the best top five we've ever seen.
Oh, and if I ever have a child, I'm naming him Nintendo.
Because apparently, the name does wonders. Nobody knew anything about AS:O, and yet it's one of the best selling games.
Neither of the new releases make it to the top 20 this week either... not even Midnight Bowling which I thought might atleast get some minor amount of traction due the Midnight name... Ohwell, it was a boring week anyway.
Very happy to see Orbient doing well, I guess word of mouth did wonders for it I hope it hits EU this week!
I think one of the releases this week may make it to the list next week. Groovin Blocks didnt get up there its first week but then it jumped up like 10 places.
I think Orbient deserves to be around where it is, and hopefully its doing well will make nintendo bring in dotstream and the rest of bit generations QUICKLY.
With the exception of Wild West Guns, the entire top 10 is either a HUGE name or one of the cheaper games on the market, which is pretty disheartening to stuff like toki tori and the slowly slipping lostwinds...
@Djungelurban (wtf?!?) : Midnight Bowling will probably turn up next week.
@x.SuperMario.x: Not quite, since MaBoShi didn't sell that well. Over here, at least. Oh, and don't forget Actionloop/Magnetica.
Also, I'm surprised still to see Dr Mario at number five! So that must be where all these online opponents are coming from... in future, I'm playing online where you Americans are asleep. I haven't seen an empty lobby in ages...
Top 20 for the UK
1) Mega Man 9
2) My Aquarium
3) Bomberman Blast
4) Helix
5) Strong Bad Episode 2 Strong Badia the Free
6) Midnight Pool
7) Defend your Castle
8) My Pokemon Ranch
9) TV Show King
10) Wild West Guns
11) Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles My Life As A King
12) LostWinds
13) Strong Bad Episode 1 Homestar Ruiner
14) Cocoto Fishing Master
15) SPOGS Racing
16) Pop
17) Dr Mario & Germ Buster
18) Block Breaker Deluxe
19) Pirates: The Key Of Dreams
20) MaBoShi The Three Shape Arcade
In other news, the latest issue of NGamer was in stores today, and they gave Helix - 1 Star (out of five), Mega Man 9 - 3 Stars (due to the difficulty - and they got one of the rare press kits as well), and MaBoShi 5 Stars (claiming it is the best game available on WiiWare. No, seriously). Thank goodness they gave Bomberman 5 Stars and Space Invaders Get Even 4 of the stars.
As for this Friday's releases, Midnight Bowling is a high possibility, though I myself am hoping that Alien Crush turns up on the shop. I wouldn't mind a bit of Orbient though, and whereas I can't see MadStone appearing, I'm sure that Potpourri is going to turn up sooner or later. Now I just need to keep waiting for Tetris Party and Minigolf dates.
Added: Oh, and we're getting MM9 DLC. Or at least, those that want it are going to get MM9 DLC. I can't get through half (read:any) of the levels at all so far
Added again: Midnight Bowling is now showing on the Nintendo channel as being released this Friday, so that settles that. Then again, the same place states that Nanostray 2 was available over here at the start of September. Damn Nintendo for rubbing salt in the wound!
Also, why do you update the charts on a Wednesday WWW? Surely it would make more sense to do them on a Sunday, giving newer games a fair chance.
Swedish Top 20:
(1) 1 - Mega Man 9
(3) 2 - My Aquarium
(2) 3 - Bomberman Blast
(4) 4 - Helix
(8) 5 - Strong Bad Episode 2: Strong Badia the Free
(10) 6 - Defend Your Castle
(6) 7 - LostWinds
(7) 8 - Midnight Pool
(5) 9 - Wild Wild West
(11) 10 - Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: My Life As A King
(9) 11 - TV Show King
(13) 12 - Cocoto Fishing Master
(17) 13 - My Pokémon Ranch
(18) 14 - SPOGS Racing
(12) 15 - Toki Tori
(14) 16 - Dr. Mario & Germ Buster
(15) 17 - Strong Bad Episode 1: Homestar Ruiner
(19) 18 - Star Soldier R
(16) 19 - Block Breaker Deluxe
(-) 20 - Pirates: The Key Of Dreams
No new WiiWare games for Europe last Friday so it's mostly the same games as last week. Only difference is that Pirates claimed the 20th spot from Pop. Otherwise there are just the expected erratic movements up and down the chart considering that Sweden is a smaller userbase than let's say the US (duh!) and thus small changes will have large effects. It's notable thought that Toki Tori and Star Soldier R are still holding on to chart spots long after having dropped out of the US charts.
Yay for the top games being good! But BOO for Groovin' Blocks falling to 20!
I'm playing orbient and really enjoying it. Pricepoint is so important, I'm surprised no game has gone on sale yet, the 500 point titles hang around for a very long time.
@SuperMario-You want your child to be one of the best selling games?
Anyway, I think wonder why Midnight Bowling didn't make it in...
Canada and sweden have the best list.
See this is why i hate ngamer 3* for megaman 9 is sacralige(man i need to learn to spell). ONM is betta they like a challenge.
Shame to see strong bad 2 not doin to well.
Oh. My. God. * sniff * this is the best top 20 list I ever saw! If only Groovin' Blocks was higher, and Pong Toss was replaced with Toki Tori, it'd be perfect!
I agree with Wiiloveitonline that Wednesday is an odd day for these lists. Friday would be perfect IMO.
@Supermario. Your kid would have some very loyal friends.
This may be insignificant, but the first bit I noticed was Dr. Mario beating Pokémon this week. I'm happy to see Orbient doing as well as it is, with what little press it received (let alone any at all). Lastly, it seems Hudson could be the new dominant 3rd party developer for WiiWare with My Aquarium and Bomberman (Gameloft's titles are starting to fade). Also, with Tetris coming stateside this month, it looks like Hudson won't be dropping their dominance anytime soon.
@WiiloveitOnline & Djungelurban
good to see some countries enjoy the awesomenes of helix
Bomberman Blast is such a fun time...
now get pong toss, cocoto fishing, family table tennis and pokemon ranch out and were doing awesome
Top20 from Brazil:
01(02): Bomberman Blast

05(04): My Pokémon Ranch
06(07): Midnight Pool
07(06): LostWinds
08(09): Wild West Guns
09(12): Dr. Mario Online Rx
10(11): Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: My Life as a King
11(10): Defend your Castle
12(13): SPOGS Racing
13(08): Family Table Tennis
14(--): V.I.P. Casino> Blackjack
15(14): Strong Bad Episode 1 Homestar Ruiner
16(15): Gyrostarr
17(17): Helix
18(20): Toki Tori
19(--): Cocoto Fishing Master
20(--): Midnight Bowling
Pretty solid list. Though I wish Strong Bad 2 could have held on longer like the first episode.
And I really hope Madstone eventually breaks into the Top 20. Definitely deserves to be there for at least a week.
Seems like Brazil isn't too fond of Strong Bad... I mean, Episode 2 has already dropped out. I wonder why that is... Is it some kind of language barrier thing or what?
I'm starting to like the top 10 more and more
What?! A list that doesn't inspire confusion and rage?! Preposterous! I refuse to accept its credibility!! Though If I wasn't refusing, I would make some sexist comment like it's the week of the Man!
top 5 are looking pretty good this time, all worthy games, I'm obviously glad Dr.Mario is still hanging in there after all this time, I don't think that Dr.Mario or Megaman 9 will ever leave the charts or if they do, please be by a good game and not pong toss! I'm thinking of getting my aquarium, I think the key to that one's success was the correct pricing of it.
After spending two days with the PC version of World of Goo, I think it's safe to say that it should easily make the list next week. I just can't wait to see how high it debuts.
wonder how pong toss is selling so much
@ Corbie
Just curious, will the Wiiware version be identical to the PC outside of control setup and the differences with the British version?
Eurogamer's review was dripping with enthusiasm and praise for the PC version, so I really hope the Wiiware one is on the same level.
I'm assuming they're pretty much the same aside from control differences judging by the WiiWare game play videos I've seen, but I haven't played the WiiWare version yet.
Good to know. So, will your review be based on the PC version or is 2D Boy about to send about final Wii review versions soon?
I'll review the WiiWare version on Monday as usual. I'm just playing the PC version to get a feel for the game. That will give me a head start on the WiiWare version so it won't take as long to get a review up.
Good to see bomberman blast and art style up in the top 5.
@Corbie--Just to make sure I and others don't misunderstand, do you mean you will start reviewing the Wiiware version on Monday or have it up by Monday?
Actually, I change my mind. I'd name my son Gurt.
That way he can walk around town, and when people needed him, they could shout, "YO....... Gurt!".
On topic (if I'm not already) I think the review will be up fairly quickly.
Usually big name titles are reviewed early on due to the heavy anticipation.
Other games, however, aren't as lucky. I know Midnight Bowling, I feel sorry for you too!
So from what I understand, Corbie will get the gameplay and everything down on the PC version, so he can breeze through the WiiWare version.
Like how he breezed through Mega Man 9, I'm sure!
Well it's tricky. The editors are in Europe so they're normally in bed when I'm writing up the review. I usually get it finished not long after they go to bed so they can't proof it until they get up the next morning. They're 6 hours ahead of me here in Texas. My reviews are normally in the system to be proofed hours before they go live. It also depends on the game. Sometimes I need to play more of a game to review it, whereas other times I don't need more than 3 or 4 hours. I'd expect the World of Goo review early Tuesday morning most likely as it's a fairly long game.
Djungelurban :
Actually, I'm pretty surprised to see strong bad on the list. Thing is... this show is not aired around here, so... I'm pretty sure that people are buying it totally 'on the dark' or based on all those positive reviews.
Good for those games at the top 5, they deserve being there, the only big surprise is AS:Orbient, Nintendo did well with that game, still, I feel sorry for Groovin' Blocks, it's another underrate good game.
Wooo! Mega Man 9 and Bomberman! And, I'm surprised at how well Orbient is doing too! It's a largely unknown game. I guess it's that low price tag that brought in its sales! I bought it and am very happy with it; I like anything with an interesting physics engine.
I am happy to see Orbient and Bomberman so high up on the charts. Hopefully, the other Art Style games will do just as well.
Seems like Final Fantasy is steadily moving down. I'm guessing its price point is slowly going to let it die. No matter its content, I don't think these high-priced games will stay too popular for too long when placed next to cheaper games.
Thanks for the clarification Corbie, love how active the editors are on this site.
Great to see Orbient getting some well-deserved love! It's a terrific title and certainly the coolest two-button game ever. Also great to see Bomberman Blast right up there behind Mega Man 9. Blast is another great game; the 8-player online explosion-fests are fantastically wild. Also happy to see Mega Man 9 holding its place at #1. It deserves it in spades! Fabulous, fabulous game. Playing as Proto Man is hard... and whoever is in the top 10 for the Endless Stage clearly have no lives whatsoever. Seriously? Over 1000 screens? Go outside for a change!
@Scrent
Well, to be honest, Strongbad (or Homestar Runner rather) isn't aired anywhere as far as I know, it's a webcomic... Or actually more of a webanimation series. Thus access to Homestar Runner is as easy to come by in Brazil as it is anywhere else... So I don't know...
i think the reason they do these lists on wednesday is to have a more spread out update.
monday usa update, friday europe.
@ Killraven - That's exactly correct. By the time the weekend gets here, we're already getting ready for the Monday VC again.
Djungelurban:
My bad! I just assumed that it was a cartoon aired on TV and didn't even tried to look into. Maybe it just miss some talk around here to make it shine. Gonna have to look at it at some time.
@Corbie: thats well thought out. I applaud whoever thought of that - despite still thinking Sundays charts would still work best.
@Mr Chippy: Not quite - the new issue of NGamer I got earlier this week gave Helix 1☆. And thats not good. Then again, they gave MM9 3☆ (due to the unforgivingly cruel difficulty) and they also have MaBoShi listed as their top WW game - above LostWinds, FFCCMLAAK, Toki Tori and BMBlast.
