MPR does not surprise me. I read that it has like 40,000 sales Worldwide. That's a lot. It's also predictable.

Dr. Mario has almost 30,000. MPR has probably had the greatest/fastest scuccess of any other WiiWare title to date.

TV Show King is still up there! That's quite impressive.

And I'm saddened to see Protothea ahead of Pop. Protothea should be at the very bottom, quite honestly.

I'll give you Toki, but I haven't played LW since launch. Bro bought it for me and it's one of the most boring games I've ever played.

Interesting how the two new games debut two days after launch beating both Critter Round Up and Star Soldier R. Nobody wants those games, apparently.

Toki Tori should continue to climb a bit, I'd hope Family Table Tennis will drop now the Nintendo Channel tells you it's meant for small children...

I still don't get TV Show King, but then the success of Carnival Games was a mystery to me, too.

I get what you mean, though, and quite frankly, I'm not surprised that Critter Round-Up is at the very bottom because I'm sure many realize that the 1000-Point price tag is not justified when you compare it to the other offerings on the service (i.e., what you could get for 1000 instead).

But I guess Protothea's success is lended by the fact that there seems to be quite a few space-shooter fans in the market. Too bad they probably didn't know what they were getting into. I imagine most were disappointed. I'm gonna check the Ninty Channel later to see how people find it... oh wait... I just put it on SD Card yesterday, needing the space. >_>

Wow, it saddens me that My Pokémon Ranch gets to be first while a wonderful game like Toki Tori is still stuck at 8. It shows that whatever Pokemon game will get sold no matter what, eh? Even plot-less ones!

Chipmunk777: Nobody wants a shooter game that has a max time limit of five minutes. The object of the genre is to destroy enemies without being destoyed, and survive long enough to reach the next round, not "let's see who can score the most points/ advance the farthest in five minutes." In fact, none of the "new" shooter games have anything in terms of game play on the old TG16 titles, except for maybe better graphics and bloated file size. I bought Blazing Lazers b/c people said it was easy, but man that game is INTENSE! Sometime I'll have to try out those invincibility cheats I read online (Google it).

Oh, and I think Critter Round up is 2 dollar shovelware that should have been priced at 499 points or less, but instead got 1000. Lazy developers to start with, then they got greedy and now they will lose money because nobody buys it because it sucked and was priced to high. The peeps behind D.Y.C. were much wiser, and well, you reap what you sow.

Actually, its more than that. Its 40,000 sales logged by the Nintendo channel. Considering there are pleanty of members here who don't use the Nintendo channel...but its impossible to say for sure how many people don't have the Nintenod chanel and what number got Pokemon Rant (or anything else for that matter) but we know its at least 40,000 for certain...

Anyway lots of people saying new game is selling more than old game. Well yes, that happens. Just because Pootothea sold more than Pop in whatever time frame the charts are based on (probably a month looking at how stale the VC charts are) doesn't mean its sold more than Pop in lifetime sales. The same might hold for Star Soldier R...

@Dazza: What if a European wants to buy Axelay by switching to Australia? Will there happen the same?

I haven't thought Pokémon Ranch would rank that highly, I guess we'll soon see it in Europe

Who the hell keeps buying the crappy games?! You can't do anything in Rnach and Star Soldier is much better than Protothea, 5 minutes long or not! And of course all my games are way too low-LW, Toki Tori, etc.

Oh and for the record, Chipmunk: Block Breaker Deluxe is not "poor" by any means.

And yes, Star Soldier beats the high-score-less Protothea any day.

Thats a shame Star Soldier is not higher. It makes me wonder if the warning screen before you download it is scaring people away. Also Hudson should publisize more tournaments. It may help

He's talking about Dr. Mario, but I'm sure you already know that. As for the avatars, I was wondering the same thing, never found a good time to ask, until now. Seriously, how do you add put those little picture thingys to your posts? I've tried "edit profile" and don't know what to do from there.

Never mind, that was easy, it just requires pictures that you've saved on your computer(I didn't have any, but thankfully VG Cats had a whole section dedicated to avatars).

"Edit Profile" is under "My Account" at the top, by the way.
